Really enjoy all your uploads - and loving all the gear and seeing them get used - little luxuries make all the difference but my shopping list is growing each time I watch your vids mate - good thinking having the little brew kit bag to just grab and go. Thanks for sharing the trips👍
Thank you very much for the comments. The grab and go separate brew kit makes the dinner stop location much more interesting. No more hunting for cafes.

I did a trip with 2 mates we rode the length of Vietnam Hanoi to HCM it was a fantastic ride.
That was a great video. The villages looked lovely! Great scenery! Interesting gadjets; particularly liked the chair. Very handy. Your meal looked good. You are a one creative motorcyclist!

Done that area and it was a great trip even though it rained most if the time.North West of Dumfries was particularly brilliant landscape !
I was really lucky with the weather although it was freezing temps on the evening.
It is amazing in Galloway forest indeed. I need to come back again.

21:41 I got some beautiful photos from down at the spot you camped back in October! Just before this spot as you probably saw riding round, there’s a bothy, brilliant wee place but would’ve been a treacherous walk up with how bad the mud can be😂 ended up needing to stay there instead of camp when one of the pack was feeling ill but it’s class! If your email is in the description I’ll email you the photos of when I was there it’s honestly beautiful!

brilliant Pete great channel , yes that area is awesome i was just down a few wks ago didn't camp tho just rode around and did some trails around loch doon area and were you were then cut up towards mennock pass then home Glasgow bound @ 200 mile round trip ive added a T7 rally to the fleet just so i can explore more areas like that and the act tracks and tet keep my bmw for touring , hope you manage back and explore more there are loads to find ps i see you did bring the kitchen sink lol thanks for sharing

Glad I found your channel. We're going back up north of the border to do the Galloway area, as you say, there's so many great roads there that are hidden away from the normal routes.
Don't think we'll be up to the Bear Grills style like y'self, but would be lovely to base ourselves somewhere and just ride the area.
Gotta say though, great video, great kit and love your editing style. Subbed and will keep an eye out for the next one👍👍

New subscriber. I watched both parts of this trip, really enjoyed watching. I was wondering what mattress you use and would you recommend it? I was down Galloway forest last week but raiders road was still closed but i still had a great b road day. I just bought an sas a couple of weeks ago and planning to do some more camping trips. Hi mate, I use the Exped down mat 9LW. I think it is probably the best you can buy. I love that area, but sometimes you can be a bit sneaky with the closed roads. But I didn’t that🤣
I spend time over winter looking for camping bargains, its always cheaper. Its amazing what is out there that is lightweight and collapses down to nothing to fit on a bike. My way of looking at it is that if it is cheap to buy and it breaks, then its cheap to replace. I always throw old socks, t shirts and boxers in a drawer and use them on bike trips. No washing, just throw them away each day. 👍
Each to their own with camping. There’s a million different set ups, ideas, accessories. That’s what makes it great. Spend as little or as much as you like👍🏽
Amazing place is Galloway. These off road routes are not legal for bikes though, have you been chased off any of them? There are no byways in Scotland. I guess it being so quite and you not taking the piss has meant no issues?

What mic do you use and where do you place it?
The audio is so amazingly enjoyable and clear and sufficiently loud too. Amazing work with that
@@mottotravel this took numerous attempts with different microphones to get an acceptable result. The microphone that I use now is I think the best available on the market?
Movo ACM400.
The microphone is placed off to the side of the chin guard of the helmet. It helps to have an extremely quiet helmet with a very good wind insulating neckpiece also.
@@Two_Wheel_Trips Thank you so much for the response brother. I too have tried so many placements and mics (rode lav mic, boya mic, laptop mic etc.) Still not satisfied. I guess i'll give Movo a try too.
