Love Patrice Rushen. My family moved from NY to a southern state in the early 80’s when I was a teenager. Of course I didn’t want to leave my girlfriend. We called and wrote each other constantly. When we came back to visit she and I spent every minute we could together. Our song became “Forget Me Nots”. Every time I hear it or any other song by Patrice Rushen I smile and think of her. Thank you Ms. Rushen for your wonderful talent and for taking me back down memory lane. Tonya, wherever you are, I will forget you not!
