I think it has been already a spoiler if you know why Beastmen didn't kill the advisor on the spot. spoiler: He's a Tzeentchian servant, they may smell his influence and know that he's working for their deities.
For all the 'hate' beastmen have for men, they actually ally with Norscan's and other chaos servants a lot. Religion is more important than race I guess.
Benjamin Waters oh they moan whine and will kill mortals if they can, as they view themselves as the true servents of chaos. However they are scared shitless off the chaos gods and don’t want to piss them off by killing a champion of theirs.
You know, This game has it's problems. But frankly it's the best total war since Shogun 2, It was fun, exciting and you know what, it showed that CA had some courage to branch out of their comfort zone and I think it worked extremely well.
As a WFB Beastmen player who almost got rid of his army with AoS1, I can tell you, if you still have them AoS 2.0 is actually pretty fun for Beastmen. Still an underdog army, but much more fun than in WFB, and not relegated to running big blocks of bestigors, or Minobus anymore.
They could have done a much better trailer if they showed the faction through the eyes of a mutant turnskin who fled human civilisation and was forced to join a war herd as a slave. It would have been a more interesting trailer than showing an old man roaming with them.
This doesn't make much sense because the Beastmen hate all humans. Plus all beastmen (especially Minotaurs) crave human flesh such much that they would fight over one another over scraps. I can't see this old man lasting very long in their herd before he becomes their supper.
They kind of explain it at the very beginning of the grand campaign if you start as Khazrak. The advisor in the Beastmen campaign is an agent of the Chaos gods and they granted Khazrak a vision telling him not to kill the old man, even though he really wants to.
It's not so much that we're "lazy", it's more that we believed that allocating more of our time and resources into doing something which would been purely cosmetic wouldn't have been worth it when we've got more stuff to be getting on with. Besides, it's better than having the same generic intro every time, like in Attila or Shogun 2, or not having one at all, as in most of our previous games.
Making cutscenes does not take resources away from the "game making" part of development since the art department is not involed in anything other than the art and cutscene stuff (IE they don't do any sort of programming or anything else for the game). So if they skimp on the cutscenes and artsy fartsy stuff it isn't because they poured resources into mechanics or something that would make the game better it simply means that they either got lazy or cheap. The art department usually has very little to do nearing the end of a games development cycle therefore they are either tasked with making cosmetic DLCs or they are assigned some other project. Either way it means that CA got cheap and lazy on a tripple A title which totals about 120 Euro on Steam...
Faction emerges- Beastmen
One turn later: Faction destroyed- Beastmen
Ironically, beastmen were the first faction with which I won a campaign.
@@justwannabehappy6735 well theyre the weakest playable faction along with kislev

@misterlove7895 what are you smoking?
That old man is a collection of references, all in a single being.
Someone please tell me in what part of the game campaign I watch the scene in which the advisors talks about elders inspect infants for defects?
@@vitor1678
I think that was from 300 and I think he was the narrator in that too.
someone call markus to return home, there is a bigger threat than nakai
There needs to be more cinematic cutscene and show us the outcome of our factions and he decision we made.

0:47 When Khazrak is excited:
As a beastmen player before WHFB turned into AoS, i now have a reason to get this game :D

Thanks for the comment :) I really need to touch up on my lore xD
Beastmen work for the Warriors of Chaos all the time. They get weapons from the Chaos Dwarves as well
That man actually gets killed by The Everwatcher in the chaos campaign.
I was thinking... does beast this big really needs a sword to rip of a human head xD
Do not let the beast-kin take you alive, do not allow allow an audience with their Herdstone, lest you become as they.
Faction emerges- Beastmen
One turn later: Faction destroyed- every one
I actually liked the intros for these but I understand why some dont
this dlc i have never gotten only wood elfs lol
Epic!
Using a human narrator for every race was a mistake.
Hands down my favorite Warhammer race

BEASTMEN ARE BADASSES

I Know
If their so primitive how come karzaks got his beard tied up😂😂
Clearly he's a fan of hair salons
They should have started morghur instead. Much cooler with the chaos taint
They just rehashed the beastmen trailer and snuck an old man in there, Too lazy to make an actual intro I guess
Yeahhh :/
Let's just hope they do better with the Bretonnia intro.

They still haven't given ENDING CUTSCENES to the Campaigns!

Khazrak's roar at the end gives me a chubby.
is it just me or the beastmen from Warhammer total war 2 look more hideous than the mini statures and illustrations from the creators?
They stole warcraft 3s narrator. He has a crow instead of being able to turn into a crow
