I don't believe this was ever a release--I was doing interior tiling at this time and shuffled between the better of the'70s rock stations and the modern rock one a lot, but I was also in a locale that was absolutely not a test market or anything. (Back when radio wasn't all owned by Totally-Not-Clearchannel-with-a-name-change and many did not, in fact, do the infamous Boss-style three-song-playlist) and yanno, radio is hands-free as opposed to tape as long as the chat breaks aren't too bothersome. Anyway, God, this is only logarithmically more relevant today. Today's parents with small children at home, Mum and Dad both work three jobs just to keep rooves over their kids' heads; kids are eternally shuffled to trustworthy family and friends. Mum and Dad can't even have their children's full birthdays or bloody Christmas off... I also love this actual talking about overwork in general. It's one of many things my old country brings up in art and media a lot, but America hides to save face and then wags fingers at Japan for having it. (Someone dies of overwork-related causes in Japan, it's fully acknowledged. Here "oh well some people just randomly die of heart attacks and strokes at 45; maybe he should've taken walks at his lunch hour, a-hyuck!")
