Sometimes get an experience where the internal character voice is compartmentalized not connoting and the rest is just floating through void and it just ceases to matter one way or the other. I used to think the two had to be mutually exclusive but they can co-exist. You know like when you hear music in a film in the background -the voice just becomes like that.

Oh, language. Subject, verb, object. When inquiring into subject, it is not found. When inquiring into action, no source of action is found. When inquiring into object, no separate object is found, only seeing, hearing, feeling, sensing, thinking - all of those are part of awareness. Yet the very language is predicated on the fact that there is separate self that has free will to act with objects... At least 9 out of 10 sentences, even in this video, are in contradiction with empirical reality. So back to the beginning. Sigh, oh language... But then again who is here to talk and who is here to listen? Even a sentence: What is the nature of my experience? My? Who am I? ... Nothing, just awareness. Who is experiencing? Silence, there is just awareness, but even saying awareness (noun) would imply an object but "it" is not an object. What is there to experience? Again, all (there is) is knowing. In Czech there is a saying: talking is silver, silence is gold.
I am quite surprised to hear words like "boring" from a man who is supposed to teach non-duality.Is he suggesting that meditation practice is boring??This is contradicting his teaching about being aware at the present moment. The present moment is always new and fresh and so,one who abides in it can never be "bored",even if he sits for hours. If this is considered boring,he/she simply does not understand emptiness yet,and has a great deal of homework to do.Play tennis?Sure do it,it won't harm you IF your mind is not partial to it.If you like tennis AND consider meditation boring,it shows an agitated mind fascinated with toys only....The mind should be able to rest in itself regularly in meditation so that it's attachment to entertainment gets gradually diminished.
@@truthseeker683 It's you that don't get it. You HAVE to practice meditation until you are able to effortlessly enter the samadhis. The people who say "meditation is boring" are the people who need to practice meditation - and actually have never meditated properly. This guy Lucille is a major charlatan, and people who give him money are morons. Hope that helped.
Honestly this is right but not true - true but not right - half baked wisdom - boredom is only ever a symptom off a wounded heart by the way - too crippled to feel intrinsically alive - it's nothing to do with so called "practice " that's an idiotic way of dismissing practice and is no way a satisfactory contemplation of the question
He might be referring to an idea, that "any old practice" isn´t necessarily the best thing for you to do right now in order for self-realization to happen sooner or later. I mean, for example, for some people - right now - doing yogasanas or long distance running or playing tennis or climbing a rock, might be more beneficial than a sitting meditation, which the questioner seems to have in mind.
Francis articulates the experience with such clarity. It's astounding!
This is beyond profound. Thank you SO much for posting. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Beautifully expressed
WOW! OUR TRUE MISSION IN LIFE... (AND DON'T WE ALL KNOW IT INSTINCTUALLY) JUST BEAUTIFULLY EXPLAINED BY FRANCIS!!! :-)
Recognize the true desire of your heart... rather than the conditioned mind...
Don't follow the object
Follow the happiness in your desire.... Lovely
He is Real👍
Just beautiful.

Love his talks, but this isn't the clearest. A "boring" practice isn't being done right.. The doer is stuck in time/ego.

He is talking about the practice and not the actual meditation hope you got it...

Very far from half baked, I assure you.
