Hello, we visit the bay area occasionally for family. I love it there. We live in another state but I personally would want to move there to Walnut Creek, if given the chance. In our last visit, we stayed in Pleasant Hill for a week, right by WC. Beautiful area, we rented bikes and rode through the trails. Where we live, we don't have mountains, not even hills. I like the open spaces, suburban living but not too far from SF. Years ago, when I first moved to the US, my first job interview was in Walnut Creek, but did not get that job. I was staying at my aunt's house in Hayward at the time.
I just have to comment, I don't think you can wear a rolodex, a rolex, yes, not a rolodex :)
Thanks for making these videos, I have watched most of them.

Living in WC for the past 33 years I've seen lots of change but it has always been measured and manageable in my opinion. I appreciate much of the growth has been downtown focused. I've lived in the downtown area, Northgate and Rudgear neighborhoods. They all have their pluses and minuses but enjoyed living in each area at that time in my life. That being said the politics are making this state especially the Bay Area an unsustainable place to live and raise a family.

@@HammernFrank I know it's gotten so bad with taxes. CA is really pushing people out. I would have not said this a few years ago but it's really gotten out of control. :/ I feel like there is a diminishing middle class and it will be a luxury to buy real estate, our kids will not have the same choices as us unless they make $350K ++ alone or combined with their spouse.

I've been living in Walnut Creek for 52 years left San Francisco becasues WC was country living seems like big city issues and politics slowly has made its way to WC, Folsom, El Dorado Hills or to the west Tiburon and Marin County seems more applealing for my next move.

    Hi Rachel,
Commendable effort in taking the time to create this informative video.
We run a community of Real Estate Agent Influencers who get together once a week to brainstorm video for Real Estate. Assuming this may be relevant, would you like me to send you an invite?
