Chidiyon Ka Pinjra | Stage Production 2023-24

Set in rustic Punjab, Chidiyon Ka Pinjra follows a mad chase for freedom through a labyrinth of
family complexities and financial hardships. Rulda and Rinku, two parallels separated by a
generation, crave for a homeland lost to conflict, for an escape from the ruin that is left behind.
They're desperate to run, run from the past, run from their destiny, run till their legs give way.
To keep Rinku from resorting to life-threatening illegal immigration, his uncle Rulda hires him as
an aide. Together, they set on a vengeful path for the sake of Rulda's sister and Rinku's mother,
Tarsem, a woman aged by sufferings.
Through this journey of vengeance and longing, where will their search for belongingness take
them?
