- Sarkanniemi is an amusement park located in downtown Tampere, Finland. This is a small park but it has a great atmosphere next to the water and it is filled with roller coasters, flat rides, and a large kiddie area themed to Angry Birds. Find out which 10 rides are best in this video!

Seeing Take Off running so slow actually hurts me. I grew up on german fairs and the Take Off is still one of the more intense and one of the best rides. The german showman Langenscheidt cranks it to the max and the g-forces are just nuts.
The Sky Rocket looks really good, has the same restrains as the same model in holiday park, germany. Love them.
Tornado looks really good. Idk why, but i rove heart line rolls and inline twists a lot. The track design looks awesome too. There's something about the older track designs I can't describe.
I'd love to try a crazier one.
I really liked Särkänniemi. Visited July 2021 and honestly this park has one of the coolest locations for a themepark I’ve ever seen. It is a beautiful setting and the rides are also not too bad. Although I’m not a fan of the Sky Rocket II model in general, there were still some quite enjoyable coasters. Tornado actually surprised me, a fun little suspended coaster with 2 awesome heartline rolls. It was also much smoother than I thought, which is always a nice bonus. The logflume there is very unique and quirky and was also something I did not expect to like as much as I did. Also High Voltage was great. The huge observation tower was also really nice and gave some great views of Tampere. All in all, Särkänniemi is a great park to spend some few hours at while visiting Tampere and is a park that should be definitely considered visiting, when planning on visiting Power Park
The atmosphere is definitely the park's strongest aspect.

It's been a few years since I've been to Särkänniemi so I haven't had a chance to try Hype or Boom, but from what I've experienced I think that X might just be the best flat ride in Finland, it is such a forceful and fun ride! Tornado is always a fun ride in the front row, and Tukkijoki is a nice log flume as well.
X really is great.
Why do you like more the Premier Rides Sky Rocket II coasters without the comfort collars? Because what do you think about the comfort collars?
I don't hate the comfort collars, but the ride is better without them.

What would you think about the jet star coasters like the one that used to be at Särkänniemi, the one at Indiana Beach, and the indoor one that used to be at Great Escape?
The Great Escape one was shakier than the others.
Try riding again Take Off at Sarkanniemi. I think it looks like a rare spinning flat ride that rotates and elevates. The platform elevation looks thrilling.
It's rare, but it wasn't run fast enough.
I don't quite understand the difference between an inline twist and a heartline roll anymore. I always thought that inline twists were just. straight track rotated 350 degrees. but the inline twists on Tornado invert around the rider so what makes them not heartlined?
It's hard for me to tell as well.
What do you prefer at Särkänniemi, the drop tower, Take Off or the observation tower?

Intamin Invert, Zamperla Motocoaster and a Sky Rocket 2, it's enough to make me happy. I wouldn't get board here, I just wonder how those Zamperla Moto Coasters feel compelled to Vekoma motorbike ones.
The Zamperla ones tend to be way more compact.

Smooth is comfortable. Rough is not.

While I didn't ride this installation, I have ridden some clones stateside like Tig'rr at Indiana Beach. But why did you not speak about the one that used to be at Great Escape, if that one was also the same model?

If you would have ridden Jet Star at Särkänniemi, you've ridden Jet Star clones like Tig'rr at Indiana Beach, and why did you speak about the clone at Indiana Beach but not about, for example, another clone, such as the defunct Nightmare at Great Escape?
Nightmare was indoors like the other two and ran rougher.
Scandinavian parks are so underrated!
