I am still convinced that Madeleine was referring to Louis not telling Lestat he loves him, because Louis told these words to Armand while his regret for never telling Lestat was showcased in this season. Louis was also quoting Lestat’s words from season 1 right before that. I think Madeleine just wasn’t aware of who Louis was feeling like this about, so she might have assumed Armand. She told Armand she could feel him through Louis, but how? They r not blood bound, right? They are both blood bound to Lestat though. So it all leads me to think it could be about Lestat. The writers are very sneaky that’s for sure. Having people interpret many details in their own ways)
I've seen that theory, and I definitely think it has merit! They've focused a lot on the maker-fledgling bond and how it's felt and there's a veryyyyyyyyyyyyy good chance Lestat was already in Paris at this point, possibly making that bond stronger.
It's kind of hilariously poetic how when you started this video series you were like "10 minute videos!!✨🥰✨"... And here we are now!... I'm honestly so happy how this video series has been turning out... and how the videos have just been getting steadily longer and longer... it's beautiful. 🤣 There are multiple creators within this fandom that make videos at this length on TH-cam... So it seems like whatever the fuck drugs they put in this TV show just makes people want to talk about it for HOURS. And I love that for us as a fandom.
I KNOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW 😭😭😭 I truly didn't want to annoy the entire population of the world by talking too long so I was 100% like, yes, I'm going to keep these short, and here we are :)))))) but I hope at least a handful of people want to hear me ramble so we can all breakdown together ;;;
Appreciate hearing your fevered thoughts on these wickedly compelling characters, and hopefully letting your thoughts run wild for a little longer has gone SOME way to understanding/enjoying episode 6 better! Think you did a great job! As someone whose sole source of info is the show (and random fan posts), and whose weakness is the natural-blonde demon and his manic-depressive missus, I'm DREADING what will happen between them (and everyone else) on that stage - with Jacob's words at the IWTV premiere about hoping people will still like Louis by the end of this season, making me REALLY nervous!
Thank you so so much!!! I hope you enjoyed episode 7 (well, as much as we can enjoy a trial of trauma !!) and, as for Jacob, I hope he knows that I - personally - COULD NEVER hate Louis, and I think the end will still leave us with a whole lot of love for him
Interesting what you say about Louis not being himself. I think because I didn’t read the books I wasn’t surprised about him being like that in this episode. He was a ruthless businessman aka pimp exploiting women and we can’t forget the scene with Paul when Lestat first saw him. So Louis in this episode reminded me of that.
Yeah, Louis isn't very fleshed out as a character in the books, other than in his grief of Claudia and his struggles with vampirism. His past is sooooo briefly discussed and while it is said that he owns plantations, showing us a true human evil, it doesn't detail it very much. But I think those moments, the pimp and threatening Paul, aren't actually Louis, I think they're the person he had to pretend to be to survive and I think he reverts back to that here to survive the coven, to survive Armand.
Omg the tree connection 🤯🤯 i think you might be onto something. cuz i mean the tree has to have some sort of significance, no?? id loooove a video on the maker-fledging bond too!! honestly i think you’d do really well diving into certain aspects like that of the universe anne rice has created. and if you ever want to give a tour of your bookshelf i’ll be THERE
!!! The tree has me super intrigued, mostly as this place where nothing ever happens (because a certain gremlin won't allow anything to happen !!) but who knows!! I've been fixating on the maker-fledgling bond so much, I'll definitely have to talk about it at some point and annoy The World with more Loustat soulmate-isms centered on it
It was Armand! The tree in Dubai looks vaguely like a Magnolia tree, but it's never specified what kind of tree it is. I would assume it is though ???? A way to connect Paris to now, the true beginning of their relationship to its current state.

👍 can't wait for your analysis
Thank you!
Wasn‘t it Armand who brought his bag with some books and a branch of Magnolia. What kind of tree is it growing in their house in Dubai?

Can you film yourself watching the season finale so we can see your initial reaction to everything?
YES!!! I’d love to see that too. I’m obsessed with people’s reactions
I can DEFINITELY do that and am preparing for that for tomorrow. but ! since you asked, you can't laugh when I ugly-cry
@@JamReiderson I would never laugh! We will be crying together 😩
FINE ENTRY. _jc
Thank you!
