So basicly the Ryzen 7500f wins. It cost less than 150 dollars, is more power efficient than the ryzen 7600x, there fore cooler, and way cheaper than the ryzen 7600x3d, and can still handle the RTX 4090 at 1080p at a good pace. This with something like an RX 7800 XT or a RX 7900 GRE would basicly be the chef's kiss
I bought the 7600 (non-x) mostly because I want less heat with it being 65w (my pc sits under my desk, right next to my leg), really happy with the 7600, I got it for about $183, set PBO to 65C limit, and actually benchmarks better than the stock PBO setting. Remains nice and cool.
I noticed that the X3D had overall lower clockspeeds than the other two. I'm wondering whether you had EXPO turned on during F & X runs - but not on the X3D test?
The 3D cache is probably just a crutch for an architectural weakness of the Ryzen processors. The same as superfast RAM. Both seem to be much less important for Intel CPUs to get close to AMD's 3D cache results. That aside, those games where the 3D cache is slower here, there might be need for some AMD software or driver, which I think exists for the 3D cache and gets installed with AMD driver auto-install.
I agree. As someone who owns a 7600x3d I think the 3dv cache is a gimmick for 1080p gamers. Idk anyone still gaming in 1080p tho. But I was horns to upgrade so I did. Once new intel drops I'll sell the combo and get intel again. The gaming gains aren't worth the headaches that is the actual pc experience. No one says you'll have 60+ boot times. You can change a couple settings but my pc starts locking up while just browsing so 60 sec boots it is. It seems like Am5 isn't fleshed out yet. I was trying to stay away from this gen intel but I should have grabbed a 14600k. My 10600k booted in 9.9 secs lol. This boots at 14 with memory context restore but instability occurs so idk.
@@natel7382your bios or windows installation have something wrong with it. I have 7500f and boot is around 5 seconds. Same for few other computers i built for my friends on am5. But yeah, if you dont know what are you doing then the am5 can be a headache.
@@hardwareforgamers-it would be nice to see the 7800x3d vs the 7600x3d at 1440p with like a 4070 super or 7800 xt type card to see real world benchmarks for if saving the money and getting a 7600x3d would be well worth it for people
@@xDAKPRODUCTIONSxI have a 7600x3d with a 4070s. Its not bad but idk I miss intel. I've never had headaches like I've had on this amd platform. I think it's just am5 not being fleshed out. Minute long boots or pc instability. Couple of bsods. The Temps are also quite crazy. I upgraded from a 10600k and i miss my old cpu for everything except gaming. But for gaming it does work great. But some quirks are strange like whenever a game has a patch during downloading the cpu spins up to 100% and gets spicy. This is the first amd cpu I've had in awhile and idk not fully on board yet. Was nice to get the whole bundle for 450 tho.(cpu+mobo+ram).
The RTX 4090 in these bench marks is to strees the CPU at its max and show us how powerfull the CPUs are. These CPUs having barely any difference in gaming (Excluding the tittles that benefit from the extra catche) shows that these CPUs have kind of the same power, so any of these would pair perfectly with anything
Спасибо большое! Я ожидал гораздо большего за эти деньги. Новые ценники на амд просто надувательство! Это ни говоря о более высоких ценах на материнские карты b и x серий, нежели аналоги для intel 😮
You guys should test cpus in cpu demanding games forza 5 is a gpu demanding such as other but games like hoi4 and other strategic games like total warrior are real cpu demanding games
I do CPU test with a RTX 4090 to do a big load on the CPU and additionally with a RTX 4070 Super in 1440p to show a realistic gameplay scenario. The test with the RTX 4070 super coming next week.
less than half the price and barely 10% slower than 7600x3d
7500F big W
yep and with pbo you can close the gap even more and get 5 7600 performance
*With a 4090. Remember, if you run this test with a midrange card that normal people buy all the numbers will be the same.
@@arc00ta yeah but this is for future proofing when you get more money or the card becomes cheaper

X3D chips are downclocked from their non X3D variants to reduce heat load as the 3D-VCache is heat sensitive.

Its basically a weaker cpu if the game doesnt need the 3d cache. The $100 upcharge isnt really worth it

Less than 0.1 % of pc gamers have a 4090.......can we have comparisons with a more realistic GPU like the 4060 or 7600?

We dont need comparison with a 4060 lol since all games would be GPU bottlenecked and same speed on all cpu no matter if you have 7500f or 7800x3d
