To make a correction; the reason she stayed in her room all the time she was in India, was because the sleazy Maharishi was hitting on all the Beatles' wives and girfriends of their entourage etc. I don't blame her. That was when The Beatles realised the Maharishi was a complete fraud masquerading as a guru to bed women - something that continues to this very day with New Age ashrams and retreats and the like..
Let's face it without being rude or offensive : her voice is gone ! I prefer to keep my memories about concerts I saw back in 84 and 85 with Siouxie and The Banshees ... There is a moment that you should retire with grace instead of damaging your own legend !

If you heard most singers without autotune you would be astounded. Add to that aphex aural exciters compressors and noise gates ( that's just for starters ) and you wouldn't think it was the same person .
