I love the detail that Anger is the only one to recognize a cathartic outburst. Joy NEEDED to get that out, and it's healthy that she finally did (preferably without injuring someone).

I always thought it was just amusement, since he's barely (if never) seen Joy angry.
This proves that my theory about even emotions having feelings was proven! Seeing Alegria crying was a surprise, but seeing her angry was even more surprising!😆👍🏻

That's why I really like the anime style as it makes the characters' expressions much more making whoever is watching feel in the character's shoes and feel the pain he is feeling.
The original artstyle is just as expressive

Aside from how Good The Anime Style Looks, I Have to Say That Each Emotion Going from Being Themselves to Having different feelings is indicating The Fact That They Have a Way of Changing their lives, Joy going from Joyful to Anger and Anger Going from Angry to Surprised is The Example.

An Inside Out anime is an interesting idea but cool.
See this is why 2D is better so much more expressive then CGI. Makes me sick that some anime companies are dropping it
You can't really compare Pixar's 3D CGI with anime's CGI under a tiny budget. Pixar's 3D is just as good as 2D animation

Love this, do miss 2d animated films.
Animation was nice, you translated their designs to 2d animation well. My one minor complaint is that I think you needed more drawings. It feels more like a storyboard (which to be fair, maybe that's what it is, animation takes time and you probably have multiple projects in the pipeline) but especially when Joy's moving really animatedly during her freakout, I feel it needs at least a few more transitionary drawings.
