As an Australian I used to laugh at the British people who would stubbornly wear shorts and dresses when it was below 20°... Now having lived in Europe for four years I am at Jessica's level of stubbornness with the smallest glint of sunlight and pull out the summer wardrobe 😂
Summer is just a state of mind over here in Europe I feel like. Also anything over 15°C is decently warm in my opinion, at least warm enough to put away the winter coats and leave open the thinner jackets you still have to put on.

This was so nice to watch! I’d love a video like this for every season, in case you’re interested in making more of them. It’s really interesting to see how we attach memories of specific events to clothing items. For me, the second outfit kind of feels like librarian meets Elsa I’m the beginning of frozen.

Seeing you doing something you're passionate about and that obviously makes you happy is contagious.
I never thought a baby could babble with a British accent, and then I heard Rupert in this video. He somehow manages to have a cute British babble!
Babies babble by copying the people they hear speaking, different languages and accents have different vocal sounds etc so of course a baby raised in southern England would sound different to a baby raised somewhere else! There is no universal baby babble sound

I am not into dresses, but even I thought this video was so fun to watch! You can see the joy dresses bring to Jessica. It is nice that she associates certain events and feelings to certain clothing items. It was a very uplifting video.

Spring for me always starts at the end of february because by then I'm completely fed up with winter. In Germany it snowed and thundered (yes, at the same time) this week but I'm also pulling out my spring outfits. Maybe Nature will follow suit :)
Middle of the US here. It snowed last Thursday, then was in the high 60s Sun and Mon, then snowed again yesterday. I don't even know what season it is anymore

@@Sara-mo4mx For me personally, the temperature at which I wear shorts is highly dependant on the temperatures it's been lately, not the season. If it has just been 80 degrees F shorts feel too cold, but if it just went from negative fahrenheit to 60 shorts with jacket it is.
I watched this video with such wistfulness for my spring clothes . . . only to look out my window and remember there was a snow storm happening outside. Gotta love Canada with its two more months of winter.

Jessica, I enjoyed this far more than I expected to as a life long "tomboy" in my sixty-fourth year! Men's clothes for me, are so natural that I even had the sleeves on a dinner suit shortened to fit so that I am indistinguishable from my fellow male Tenors in our Choral society.
The fact that you greet the return of your little pink dress with: "well hello old friend!" is so charming. Seeing all your spring colours was very encouraging too. We look forward to seeing you wearing them in full sunshine among the daffodils, listen to Rupert adorably gurgling in the background. My weekend was, helping my Uncle with my Aunt's funeral. I had no funeral clothes because moving, so I had to go shopping. I was given the honor of pulling some outfit options for my Aunt. Her daughter found a lovely purple shirt that tied it all together.
The black blouse and teal skirt was definitely my favorite. 10/10, would wear once a week.
I know Jessica talks at us all day every day on her channel but this video seems more candid than most. Maybe it's because her hair's in a ponytail which seems like something we rarely see or because Jessica is talking about her most excitable topic - dresses (I don't even wear dresses) but either way this video was a joy to watch.

In Wisconsin we've got 10 inches of snow and no signs of thaw for weeks. This is refreshing to watch!
I have a seasonal wardrobe as well, although it's just summer and winter, because spring here usually lasts maybe a week then it's summer. ...and my beefy arms don't fit in the sleeves of most spring dresses because unlike winter knits, there's zero stretch in most lightweight spring fabric.

I live in Florida...our fall/winter outfits are generally the same as our spring/summer outfits (maybe a few more layers or a cardigan). And by the time summer and high humidity ends for us (usually mid-October) the fewer layers the better. Yeah...your Malaysia pile would work great here.

I am a native of Fla. and you were spot on. We used to want sweater weather so we could wear that one sweater we had. lol. I will say the humidity in the Winter could make our winters quite uncomfortable, with the dampness felt to the bone. That's why jackets that were waterproof would be very handy. We got no sympathy from the Northerners !! lol
Jessica! You have saved my sanity! I have been trying desperately to find a dress I like this summer for an upcoming wedding and this current bohemian shapeless fad looks truly awful on me. I want structure in my dresses! I was about to give up when I thought, "Maybe I can find something from one of Jessica's reviews." FIRST LINK! A few years ago I was so fed up with perpetual cold that I too "forced" spring to come by dropping winter clothes and basically wearing lighter tops and multiple layers beneath, because it was still too cold outside for proper spring outfits🤣 Anyway, I so relate to the vibe!

This video was SO much fun! I live in Canada. The ground is covered in snow and we're getting more in a few days, so this was a much-needed glimpse of warmer, sunnier days ahead. My favourite was the circle skirt with the blue top, so cute!

Can’t wait for spring. It was nine degrees c in my house today. Far too cold when I’m trying to do a desk job. Thank goodness for hot water bottles and quilts, but it’s a right pain to be huddled up all day.

Yaaaay! A long awaited fahsion video! 😍 I love these, it always inspires me.. Because although it's all vintage, year by year certain colours and trend things do influence the way vintage works for now.. I liked the black blouse with the turquoise skirt with the black ribbon.. Its so unusal to see you in black though! 😱 And the other ones are all so pretty.. Can't choose, but glad to see, and as I'm on the other side of the planet to you, we've just had our first touch of autumn here, so it's given me ideas for making the most of the last of my summer stuff and getting ready for winter here. I bet my weekend was as bad as yours. I met my close friends (which died in suicide) sister for the first time since my friend died (wasn’t planned I just ran in to her in a pub). It was super awkward and I went in a total chock and right after in an awful anxiety mood that haven’t got any better.

I'm kind of glad you kept the dress that you said Claudia doesn't like (I think I saw it in the closet in the end). I think even if the person cares about you very much, you still have the final say over what you want to wear. Idk just felt triggered I think, because I'm so used to people telling me that what I want to wear is too colourful or doesn't fit my body shape and I just have this urge to purposefully wear something especially if people have told me they don't like it. I live in Utah in the mountainous part of the United States and sadly my own ritual of switching to spring and summer doesn’t occurring until late April or early May. We have snow sometimes in June but like you, I am going to force the warmer weather. Stay well and happy and beautiful.
