    I’m glad you’re going in the Edwardian direction! Edwardian underwear is exactly your style with all the frills and lace! There are actually a ton of free (public domain) Victorian and Edwardian drafting/sewing/crafting manuals for fashionable clothing available online. Oh, and the lace that you thread a ribbon through is called beading lace.

      Thank you! I will have to try to track down a good free pattern. I am oh-so close to trying to draft/re-size patterns myself, and my assumption is that a lot of free patterns are only one size with no helpful instructions, so that's a bit intimidating for me. No harm in trying though I suppose!
