Parashat Korach 5784: | Devoured by Ambition

Who was Korach, and what motivated him to pick a fight with Moses....and with God Himself? No humble activist for social justice was he, but a master manipulator who sought to be 'king of the hill' - and who ended up being swallowed by the 'mouth of the earth.' But really? What does that even mean? And did the punishment truly fit the crime?

Judaism makes sense bc Hashem is not the G-d of confusion. It's the difference between knowing and believing. I am ever so grateful and humbled to Hashem for drawing me to his chosen.
