Just bought a flat panel at a rummage sale. Knew nothing about it. This video is the cats meow of information about this series of flat panel stage lighting. Thank you.
Great Video you have just told me why my just bought Megga TriPar are not working together as they should. :Like you said the Manual gives the wrong info, THANK YOU Brian (UK)
you would need an external power source going into the first light, you could then daisy chain succesive lights using the ECCOM sockets. Potentially only needing one plug socket for all your par cans.
Is there a way to master/slave these with an iec/ecomm cable or does it only work with dmx cable? I have tried to sync mine but having trouble getting them in sync with just the iec cable. They both power but syncing them together is the issue. Thanks
DjTecniq You can master/slave them but you need a DMX cables. Set the first light to do what you want and the slaves have to be on DMX channel one or d001.

This is clearer & more detailed than anything I've found from the manufacturer online. Great job!
I could not figure out how to master/slave these lights together to save my life until I watched this. I love these lights though, thanks.
Thank you very much, you solved my problem of setting the units to master/slave mode.

So, if I have DMX cables connecting the lights, I only need power on the first one?

me gusta las luses y son muy importante para todis los eventos.
Is there a mode where it strobes randomly thanks
You could replace the ECCOM connector with a regular ac plug though.

It’s not the connector. The cable is different.
