Can you please make a video regarding baromatic preasure, cold fronts, wind direction importance, water temperature etc.
I want to improve my success monetoring these but not sure how to do this correctly and what to look for. I am from Port Elizabeth and loving rock and surf angling but not bagging fish. Will like to increase success because I would also like to tag and release.

Everyone seems to be using big 8500 to 10500 coffee grinders these days. I have no qualms with that. Spin Fisher, Slammer, BG 8000, etc. are nice kit. I'm just so old I remember heaving big baits with a Penn Jigmaster, 25 lb mono, and a callous casting thumb.

Ek kan onthou, as kind hoe steenbras van 14/15kg n dood gewone ding was om te vang op hermanus plaat....
Waar is daai dae heen? Ek was op ouderdom 10 eers toegelaat om te gooi vir wat ek wou tussen 5 en 7 die oggend.
Sulke goeie tye daar gehad om groot stoom treine te jag.
Lekker video franna, just saw this now in my recommended 🔥, I just wanted to know how do you get away with fishing for kob and steenbras with a 3/0 hook and not 7/0 and up ? Is it not to small? Because damn you catching lekker big size fish with it so there must be some magic to it 🥺

Where can i catch these steenbras in Weskus? I am originally from Richards Bay so im not too clued up on the west coast and the forums seem like people contradict themselves . thanks for the great content👍

Hi James, No this is not the case. I am doing some videos on another channel called Catch Cook. We do it fish, we just release the bigger fish as they are mostly breeding stock.
