sample masters like Xosar do have a backup of the whole show and the samples on SD (for Korg EXS1) and CF cards (for Electron Octatrack) and a complete data backup of Analog Rhytm ready to be used in rented backline in case... and all jealous guys out there, not only she plays the samples in an esoteric virtuous way, she also makes them from scratch (forget prefabricated sounds) from her synth arsenal at home such as modulars etc... Making music on EXS1 and Octatrack is a compositional work for live performance usage it can not be compared to DJ-ning at all!. These live instrument are complex and demanding gear. Xosar have decades of mastering the EXS1 instrument. If anybody would have the black belt in EXS1 it would be her!!!! Octatrack is a even more complex instrument which demands several years of training before one can use the instrument in a fluid way for live performance. In this set she is using it with the Elektron Analog Rhythm. Excellent minimalistic approach with massive potential. I hope Xosar can inspire other women in this male dominated business to unlock their creative minds and go out and make great music.
Jesus, you started off so well and then ended it so horribly. This is not a "male oriented business", it is a male dominated business. Anyone, even children can be creative and make great music. Women are already creative and going out and making music, some of the first pioneers of analog synthesizers and sampling and looping were women in the 60s and 70s, "smart guy".
not rly, if u want to see an electribe master @ work go check out Mihail Shevchenko , swear even my tribe skills top this easily ...no bragging ist just not THAT good

Using a sampler with pre-recorded sounds isn't really all that different from a computer. It's not like someone's on keys in the back, another on electric bass on the side, and she's handling percussion, right? That's what 'real' live would be, but that's just not how this type of music is made.
Mukama's Love, I dont really know what you mean with how to interpret it, in my opinion everyone interprets it another way. Some people might think that techno is all about sending a message about what-ever current political opinion, while others think its about the opposite, about not sending a message at all and just enjoying the moment with good people around. Some see it as art, others as noise. In the end its all about enjoying the power of music. The kind of repetitive groove of electronic/techno music is what some would consider the beginning of music, back when caveman used to stomp the ground, clap their hands together in unison and shout ritualistic vocals to create some kind of spiritual vibe around the campfire. Then as time moved on we invented instruments to make beautiful melodies to work together with the rhythms we created as a tribe. What it all comes down to is the bassdrum/kick accompanied with percussive sounds and a bass to make us move, thats why when the drums kick in we always start to at least nod our heads to the beat. Everything else is there to keep it fresh and not too repetitive. So my tip would be to listen to a lot of DJ sets or live sets like this one to find out what you like and what makes you move. There is a lot out there that you will like, but even more that you won't. Now I dont know if this is what you asked, but I hope you or someone can feel like they got something out of my comment.
aaand what does that button do? it flashes. cool. and this slider? a little to the left. nothing. now what? twist that knob. oops that was the volume. hmmm ... too bad i can't check my instagram on this screen. the song is ending. now what?

Why are you so obsessed with gender? She's a human, would just be good if she could inspire other humans
Props to Xosar to holding a full set with a borrowed ESX-1. Pure!
Wow you rock!

K4R1L4 Exactly, should electronic music aim to be political or some abstract notion of ‘pure sound?’
4 min build up to for a weak drop
Well I enjoyed the awkwardness present before the drop.
You have an avicii playlist saved on your channel. It's obvious you have no conception of what decent music is.
