I vaguely remember that Yellowfang had a very close relationship with her maternal grandmother and after a quick Wiki search I realised that yeap, Silverflame did have a strong bond with her three grandkits and Yellowpaw was devastated when she fell ill and subsequently passed. I believe it was one of the very few times Warriors actually acknowledge the grandparent-grandchild relationship.

You're so hard on yourself, I love your whispy coloring/shading techniques, and the way you draw eyes in your more detailed pieces is one of my favorite things about your style! Especially Tigerstar and Tawnypelt's piece, you can just feel how piercing that Tiger stare is lol
Mother and Kit: I really like how Whitewing was all worried about Ivypool and being all motherly even after her daughter is a warrior, being all: "You can tell me anything, you know, I love you. And in the subject of a mothers love, i want some grandkits!" Siblings: I really like Tawnypelt and Bramblestar's supportivness and how they were even after Tawnypelt left. Father and Kit: Thrushpelt adopting Bluestar's kits as his own just gives me liiiiife! Friendship: Obviously Firestar, Graystripe, and Ravenpaw, their the original classic friendship trio and i just love their obvious affection, mostly between Gray and Fire, like after Grey was captured, Firestar was all distraught and lonely without him, and its just SO sad how Gray is all alone now, still thinking of his best friends so fondly and with such grieved longing. I didn't really feel a lot when Silverflame died, but I really liked the grandparent grandkit relationship because that was actually the only thing I could think of when a grandparent still cares for the kit. Tawnypelt is my 2nd fav character right after Ivypool, I can relate to them so much, I under stand Tawnypelt, going to Shadowclan, everyone was ignoring her in Thunderclan, where they didn’t like her because of being Tigerstar’s daughter, but in Shadowclan cats treated her better because she was their leader’s daughter, she also eventually starts hating Tigerstar, but she stays loyal to Shadowclan, and she doesn’t beg to go back into Thunderclan. **Cough cough… Graystripe**
Also I have another question. you do an effect were you draw over your picture ad then make it transparent for lighting (for example 5:59) how do you do that? what is it called? I have seen many others do that and it still confuses me (I'm very new to the digital art world)
@@Chai-the-Artist I think you’re talking about a multiply layer / effect. I don’t know how it is on other programs, but on Firealpaca if you look at the top of the layer window, there’s an option to change the effect / blending. (Make sure you’re on a new, empty layer to do this.) You then pick a color (imo best colors would be blue or purple, it’s what most people use. other colors like red can also work in certain lightings.) and start to shade as usual. You also turn down the layer opacity. (the bar on top of the effect changer) I also know how to do this in ibis Paint, if you use that lol.
When I tell you I screamed when I saw Sleek and Raven I mean it. I loved this as an underrated ship when I read V.o.s and Im glad to see more people notice it!

You also turn down the layer opacity. (the bar on top of the effect changer) I also know how to do this in ibis Paint, if you use that lol.

When I tell you I screamed when I saw Sleek and Raven I mean it. I loved this as an underrated ship when I read V.o.s and Im glad to see more people notice it!
One grandmother and granddaughter relationship I can think of, even though its small, was Yellowfang and her grandmother Silverflame ^^ I would argue that Yellowfang and Littlebird had a similar relationship despite not being kin

best grandparent and grandkit would hands down be Yellowfang(Yellowkit) and Sliverflame. They were pretty close in the book "Yellowfangs Secret"
I gotta love how people who draw 30x better than me still criticise every single one of their mistakes like a single black line at the edge of what they drew is what killed their family.
For the grandparent, grandkit, Silverflame and Yellowfang would've been a pretty good one
