It’s yellow because it looks like Mechano and the holes in the bracing are for weight saving when you get a load of orders from Triumph restorers around the world, wanting the bracing for their restos ! Superb work as always and far far better as a watch than anything on TV. Great to see the SD1 in the background as well !
Thanks, Ed! Was fun sharing ideas with you on where to lift from! Yes I'm secretly keen to lift the body off another car to see how quickly I can get it done :)
Thanks, Demon, haha, yeah if the effort of the frame saves problems down the line then it will have been worth it - I reckon its a lot safer lifting using the frame too!
Thanks, Bernard, haha some tomato's would have been nice! Yeah its in good condition under there, although the battery tray area and drivers' floor needs work
Hi Toby looking good in the garage some nice cars, what’s with the Rover SDi. Love that lifting bracket plus the new shelving is awesome. Keep up the good work. Paul Mimosa TR6
Thanks, Paul, kind words, much appreciated. The SD1 Vitesse (the only one in Dubai!) is in the shop for a few little fixes, another British Leyland stable mate!

For starters you have a impressive and clean shop, I now have a goal to get there.. I thought the lifting Frame concept was outstanding, Have you set up a order line yet I would love to order one or borrow yours... Keep up the great work
Hi MyFast, thank you for the comments, very kind indeed. I’m pleased to update that the lifting kit is available to order on our website www.baulycars.com (kits have gone out to US customers already) - feel free to drop me an email at info@baulycars.com
Nice dude. So is a modular rotisserie next on the list? Thought anymore about how you’re going to strip the shell? Dip or blast? By hand would be horrible.
Cheers, Jamie, yeah I'm looking at making a rotisserie that connects into the lifting frame and using outer roll hoops to keep the underside clear of anything, if that works. The lifting frame is ideal for a dipping operation, but finding a company that's done lots of classic car shells is a challenge... I think I'm doing it myself.
Frame is a product in itself. Be great for car clubs to own, for loaning to members, as well as restorers.
Thanks toxaq, kind comments, would be great one for car clubs and restorers to own - will shortly be up on the baulycar.com website.
Best lifting/bracing concept and execution I have seen! Excellent!
Thanks, John, for the kind words much appreciated

Thanks, Jonny, haha, that would be great! Thanks for the kind words.
Great info, clever solutions and a good reminder that you can never have too much space! Thank you for sharing.
Thanks, G, yeah the space is nice, but should be full of projects! I'm delighted to have a Morgan owner viewing the channel too, thank you!
Name trauma - had to have a 4/4. I LOVE the TR4A, future project. Keep the videos coming!
Love the lifting frame, Toby. So well thought out, and reusable for multiple cars. It will save time in the long run.
Thanks, Ed! Was fun sharing ideas with you on where to lift from! Yes I'm secretly keen to lift the body off another car to see how quickly I can get it done :)
Love your set up. Great concept on the lift structure, I think your design will be in great demand.
Thanks, Doug, if that helps other TR owners that would be great
I've never actually seen a TR4A with the solid axel conversion installed- cool!
Thanks, Jamie, yeah Triumph didn't make that many with the Live Axle option, quite a cool thing
getting a proper engineer to over-engineer things at the early stages will make it all so much easier down the line
By proper engineer I mean not Brian from British Layland in the 60's
Thanks, Demon, haha, yeah if the effort of the frame saves problems down the line then it will have been worth it - I reckon its a lot safer lifting using the frame too!
Lovely work and great to be able to follow progress!
Thanks, Gavin! Hope the camper is coming along nicely!
Very good engineering solution. How come the floor is so clean? When we took a body off there was enough dirty to grow potatoes!
Thanks, Bernard, haha some tomato's would have been nice! Yeah its in good condition under there, although the battery tray area and drivers' floor needs work
Ingenious design. Very effective tool
Thanks, Sam, very much appreciated, the right tools always make things easier!
Wow literally starting from scratch!
Thanks, Noun, all the way back to the start!

I sure would like to have a lifting jog like that!!
Thanks, Tehammel, much appreciated, I'm making it available to buy as a kit, will be on the website very soon! www.baulycars.com
Cool! Just added your site to my favorites!

Now that’s the way to do it!
Thanks, Chef!
