The people at santa monica studio, really know how to make a fantastic, astonishing collectors (and jötnar) edition. (unlike some other collectors editions). This one really stands out as amazing.

Probably the best collector’s item of a video game I’ve ever seen. The vinyl, hammer and ice mould are so cool
The ice mold isn't part of any edition, it's just for the press kit unfortunately.
Are you kidding, you get a plastic hammer that's not even a wepon in the game for 200 dollars, oh wow what a cool collector's edition of a video game, sure wish it came with a fucking game disc, what is it with people having no standards for what they're spending money on.

It’s hysterical the collectors edition comes with a steel book but not an actual disc
I was thinking that, kind of pointless to have a case for no discs. I get people like to collect but I kind of find that sort of demeaning for anyone that wanted a disc.
Like I got the PS5 bundle with the game and I found out it was code, I spent extra money for a disc drive console...

The dice set is such a great addition, really shows the devs know their audience, because a lot of the devs themselves probably play it too. Love it.

@@2janci2 I guess it’s like a Norse themed dungeons and dragons dice set. Might seem a little random at first but D&D has been relatively popular in recent years (probably in part due to stranger things and covid lockdown) so it’s not completely irrelevant. This is just my guess though.

@edgythehedgy364 well I'm still relatively new but the easiest edition I've seen people get a grip on is 5e all editions are different and rules can be changed around a lot by the dm. But 5e would be a good place to start out

The wooden things are the Vanir Twins apparently they did the same thing with the Huldra Brothers in the 2018 god of war collector's edition and the four together is the set. BTW I love your videos they help me fall asleep and the d&d dice set looks awesome.

big question I have about the Mjolnir hammer? is it hollow or solid plastic? i'm presuming its like plastic of pvc, but Ive never seen a breakdown of what its actually made of.
That's what I was curious of. I was hoping they would of made the replica with some weight on it. To simulate the hammers weight in the game
@@HawaiiVenom392 according to Ryan Hurst (Voice of Thor) in PlayStation’s unboxing video, it has a “hefty weight” to it. I hope he wasn’t exaggerating.
I hoped they made it out of actual wood and metal. Would be worth the money but probably double the price
As someone who has it I'm pretty sure it's solid plastic it has a good weight to it and feels sturdy

What is with all these companies charging all this money for collectors edition of a game without giving you a PHYSICAL COPY OF THE GAME?! If it's that much of a hindrance to worry about leaks, then don't release the dam packs before the pre order date, this ruins the novelty aspect. No one wants a digital code if they fork out for all this other physical content.
What about those who purchased the digital version of the ps5 console? How would they install the game if they bought this edition and the game came on a disc? Lol
god of war is one my childhood video games. my mom is the one that got me hooked on god of war. played the ps2 version 1 and 2 plus a little of the psp version. the Mjolnir looks awesome.
