I saw a 2023 HR-V the other day. It is not a real Honda HR-V. It is actually a Civic Crossover. Real HR-Vs (2016-2022) have rear door handles hidden in the window frame, and magic rear passenger seats. They are also bigger on the inside than on the outside.

The visibility is great in this car. The rear headrests drop down for improved visibility when nobody sitting in the backseat. The backseat lifts up to allow storage which is unique. I like that it has AWD option, 7.3 ground clearance and height easy to clear snow. Do not need speed, just reliability. The white exterior paint shows up well in dark, gray days. Beige interior does not absorb heat. Perfect car for me.

I own a 2016 EX model as a daily driver which has been problem free. Since I normally don't have rear seat passengers, I leave the seat bottoms folded up. I've heard of complaints from testers of the touchpad controls but just getting used to them is all it takes. I will say that a few coworkers and friends has since purchased their own, all happy as well.

I’ve got this car 2 weeks ago. One up from the entry level. I wanted a sun roof and the other extras. But the entry level is just as beautiful.

I got the EX about a month ago. Very happy with it! It’s my first new car coming from a Honda Civic ‘03. Compared to that it’s amazing, but my next car down the road I definitely want more power under the hood

I like the break hold in traffic & in a long line for a drive thru!

Brake Hold is a great feature. Easy to use and extremely useful in the city or suburbs. In my Civic, Honda executes it perfectly; it works better than in my wife's MK-C.

I have the 2019 model and love it. The Brake Hold is nice for those long lines at traffic lights, standstill traffic, or fast food drive thrus. I also like the Lane Keeping Assist and the Adaptive Cruise Control.

The sport is the best looking. It has the black accents, better rims and sport petals

This car has a design flaw. I bought a 2021 HRV on March1, 2021 and
noticed an irritating piercing whistling noise on my way home when I
cracked open any front window or moonroof. I brought it back to
Huntington Honda twice and they said they test drove 2 other new HRVs
and they made the same horrible noise. So I'm basically told this is
normal on all HRVs. I wonder if Honda has a design flaw or whether
Huntington Honda is sitting on a bad batch?

Well, if that’s what the brake hold does, it would sure help me greatly up steep hills, especially so that I don’t let it roll backwards and hit a vehicle behind me once I take my foot off the brake.

This vehicle is in need of an engine upgrade. That R18 was used in 8th Gen civic dating back to 2005

For a small suv I thought mpg would be higher. I know the engine is similar to CRV but still lol

Well done! You're great on camera and the content is good. This is almost the perfect car for me: efficient, versatile and looks good. I'm surprised you didn't touch on the way the bottom part of the back seats fold upward for cargo. The biggest problem I have with this car, and it's almost a deal breaker, is that the heels of your feet are obstructed by a large hump.
Lastly, If I may offer a suggestion, the image is a bit over-exposed at times. It's always better to be a little under than over, since you can boost it in your editing software. Great work and thanks for the review!

Your head is touching the ceiling in the rear man.. What type of Fuel Injection (It does matter for long term reliability)?

Okay. So a stupid question here but am I suppose to see my license plate in the backup camera view? I didn't notice it when I bought it but for some reason now I do. Or maybe I just didn't really notice it before. Help!

      agreed.
this vehicle needs more power & better fuel efficiency.
it needs an interior upgrade like the current Civics

Won't be in the market for a new car for awhile, and I'm leaning toward some sort of smallish SUV. Sadly, I could never get around this model from Honda--just wasn't appealing. I'd like to see the Element come back.

They should have at least put a 2.0L engine in this. Fucking stupid, it feels like this thing has a parachute behind it when you drive it. It's not worth the "eco friendly gas savings"

We've had this car for years, with only the 1.5L (from the Fit😰) Now we can it with the 1.5T, but not in a luxury versions🤢 Maybe Honda tries, but they seem unable to understand what their customers really want (at least in Europe) So they are losing ground, fast, with their carsales over here

The 6 speed manual was only offered in the 2016 version. I hate that they removed it. It makes this car perfect for me. I absolutely love mine, but won't buy another one because of the lack of manual transmission. Anything with that size engine needs a manual transmission to have any acceleration power.
