Hi!! You said you didn’t know what ATLA character you would be and obviously I only can see how you present yourself on camera. BUT, from what traits you have exhibited I think you’re ironically a mix of your favorite character Sokka’s two lovers: Suki and Yue! For Yue, a lot of it is your soft spoken nature and your emphasis on loving your family and friends and valuing and protecting them to the point of selflessness, which Yue shows in both her willingness to an arranged marriage and her ultimate sacrifice of giving life back to the moon spirit and thus becoming the moon. For Suki, it’s your gentle demeanor (I think a lot of Suki in Appa’s Lost Days when I think of her being particularly gentle), her clearly being dedicated to her skill, her devotion to her village and to her friends (being put in prison in order to help Appa find the gang, leading an entire airship to save Sokka and Toph, and refusing to leave the prison without Sokka whether or not his dad did end up being imprisoned there). She’s also genuinely just very kind and compassionate and funny. All traits you seem to possess based on how you present yourself and also how you’ve described yourself! :D

I'm happy to answer questions!^^ I did start with just a sketchbook (tho I p much only do digital now lol) I think I just sort of implemented aspects of various artstyles I liked into my art and experimented with that. Like, my main inspos have been anime, disney, and atla actually had a huge influence (as well as various online artists). tho tbh it was never a focus so I wouldn't worry too much about finding a style, just drawing what you like to draw will evolve your style naturally if that makes sense lol (I personally never used bases, I don't think those help improve art, but they can be fun, just be sure to credit the og artist if you post them is all^^) sorry for the long response haha

Haru is an earthbender in a season one episode of ATLA (although he makes a reappearance). He lives in a village that has been colonized by the fire nation and earth bending is prohibited by sentence of imprisonment. His dad was taken because of this, but Haru still practices his bending in secret. The crew meet him and he lets them stay with him and his mom for awhile. He gets into trouble when he uses his bending to save an old man from underneath a pile of rubble (the old man legit tells on him) and he gets put in the same prison as his father. Katara is angry and despite the fact that the group needs to move on, they plan a night heist to free Haru. Together with Haru and his father, they incite a prison riot and him and his father escape with a bunch of other prisoners!
