I'm sure her daughter will love her oven and cook up some wonderful meals for her and her mom while her mom is recovering. Massage will definitely help this Crystal out in many ways. In what seems like another life, I went to massage school. When I was far enough along for Clinic - In school massage training, we had a long term client who suffered from Parkinson's. He did 2 one hour sessions every Saturday, except when we were closed for breaks. I did night classes, which pushed the program over the course of a year, I was there for Christmas. We closed for 2 weeks for Christmas break. This gentleman never went anywhere but the school, and when we opened back up for classes and Clinic - I could see the difference that 2 weeks had made: His tremors were more intense. He used massage in conjunction with his meds and PT to help them remain mostly under control. I think that's a fantastic gift for her.

I had the same surgery in January of 2019 for Essential Tremor which mimics Parkinsons. It’s been life changing, being still is such a comfortable feeling and I hope it is for Crystal as well. I was nervous that with such a progressive condition that the surgery would only last for a short while, if you are wondering I’ll tell you that five years on it is working so well.
Several years ago my dad had this exact same surgery. Afterwards it was like a flip had been switched that turned off most all of my dad's Parkinsons symptoms. I hope she has the same great success and a speedy recovery.
I live in Georgia. For the last few years, I have watched every one of these. This is so amazing. Whoever secret Santa is has a caring heart. Thank you.
As someone who has had 14 brain surgeries (different conditions) a years worth of massages would be an absolute joy! Wow. Some of the gifts they really put so much thought in! Hope her surgery goes/went well!

Parkinson's is such a dreadful disease and she is far too young. I hope she gets some help from the brain surgery and can live as productive a life as she desires. I've been watching these Secret Santa videos for years now and the most important thing I've learned from this is that even the smallest gift can help a whole community. What I remember from this Secret Santa's backstory is that this person was in another country for business and felt really alone during Christmas. Then he received a christmas gift from an anonymous person, just a small gift, I think it was a snickers bar or some candy bar. He was so moved by it that he wanted to do the same in his community once he got back home. That first anonymous person, probably without even knowing, indirectly changed so many peoples lives in East Idaho with that small gift. So I've learned that even with a small gift you can change so many lives. Isn't that just awesome? And we can all do that. We all thank Secret Santa with every video, but now I want to thank the person who blessed this Secret Santa with his small gift. Much love from Europe.
I pray surgery goes well and without a hiccup for this brave, young lady. She has a great attitude and that’ll take her far. I've seen a documentary on the result of the brain stimulation on a Parkinson's patient. It is astounding - all tremors gone while it is switched on. I pray that Crystal has the same successful outcome. A really great Secret Santa.
My father was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease just 6 months after he took early retirement. I really hope the surgery works for this wonderful lady❤

She looked relatively normal at the beginning then when she started shaking my heart sank . I don't know crystal but I know she's a very nice person and wish her all the best for the holiday season .

At least until they get what my brother calls his cocktail zeroed in to that individual. My brother was diagnosed with it at 37 but he decided against having this done. I don't know why but he sure didn't want it. I wanted to try and talk him into it but I didn't. Gosh I hope it works for her.
