Using an old saying, that to give a man a fish you feed him for a day, but give him the means to fish, and he can feed himself for a lifetime, in cases like this, changing her situation so that there is a disposable income available is key to permanently changing people's lives. The solution? Well, that is a challenge all of itself, but your heart goes out to people whose lives are impacted this way.
