Its low season, and airfares are expensive too now, for north Americans and Europeans. It's actually cheaper for Aussies even though the exchange rate is still only about 24. Flights to BKK are fairly cheap from here.
Would not travel to Pattaya for WS any more. Luckily nightlife has not disappeared but shifted to the Soi Buakhao area.

Walking Street is obsolete now. Only positive thing I can see is that there are no hordes of irratating and annoying Chinese there. Its great that they can't travel. Pattaya as a whole is better off.
