The squad didn't get strengthened the way Steven Gerrard wanted and the squad was reeling from Steven going.. and I think that (and no good additions) meant we never challenged for the league. Had we stuck with Gio as you said and backed him.. I think we'd be in a better position. Players need to understand the demands put on the club by the fans .. They need to do their homework on the history of the club and then will maybe understand the frustration and anger from the stands , due to the fact we can clearly see players are not giving us everything , and the management are not showing us a clear way of playing or a glimmer of hope going forward …

They need to carry the banner and fight harder to achieve the fans desires. After all it's the players that are the largest overhead and the fans are the profit.
I would switch to a 3-5-2. Kelly, Sterling, Balogun, Propper, Kasanwirjo, Raskin, Bajrami,Barron, Jefte, Igamane, lovelace. So far it's October and if this is the real Rangers, it's nowhere near good enough for this badge and fans.
Clement has to change something. Tav is awful and Kasanwirjo and Sterling are being wasted when they don't start. I also like Jefte pushed further forward. Up top however we really lack. Lovelace would be worth a punt and we haven't seen the best of Bajrami and Igamane yet.
@WHU63 yeah from what I have seen and only my opinion, but Jefte looks a more natural LW than a left back. Tav needs dropping. A subs role would be beneficial for him, or for rotation. For me Clement missed the boat in selecting a new captain to set the tone for a new era in the summer.

Whoever starts, it will probably be slow, boring and a grind. Clemente will try and bore them to sleep with low tempo side to side passing, nick a goal and then hang on for 25 or 30 minutes. 😢
We have an Interim manager who can make the call to sack the manager, legally he can make that call with the approval from the board. The bigger problem is not sacking Clement, it is trusting a group of poor custodians to make the choice of another manager. Thats a bigger issue. This is a board who have us in debt and have a very poor track record for any kind of appointment.
There is no spark in this squad, no fight, no passion, no hunger, not playing for each other, to many players that haven't gelled, the manager hasn't got to grips with the scottish game. He's got to many excuses.

Rangers do not have a single player capable of carrying the ball into the nervous centre of the opposition defence. Until such a player is found it will be a struggle. On a different tack the away strip is a deterrent to believing in ourselves. It does not look like a football shirt and whoever was responsible for the design should remaster to drawing cartoons. Apart from that when are we going to buy a quality player. We have not bought one since Paul Gascogne.

He’s then been left to pick up the pieces and run what looks like the majority of the club behind him as well. Johnny McFarlane does not come across as having the recent experience of a Rangers supporter in Scottish football. Teams try much harder against Rangers than against the filth. Most teams are defeated in their heads before they cross the white line against the filth. Further the reason we tend to do much better in Europe than them, is the above and the two tier officiating. Clement like Gio and Beale has not cracked the code in terms of the domestic game. This is made a lot harder due to the two factors above. Walter Smith, once touted as one of the most progressive coaches in Europe, abandoned complexity for the reality that he truly believed that he had to win every game and trophy in Scotland. Clement has to truly believe that you have to win every game and not just treat it as a sound bite. He requires to instil absolute ruthlessness into his side, identifying proper leaders would be a good start assuming there are no plans to jettison him any time soon.
