Guys if you are in a place financially where you can afford not to shop from Temu, Shein etc. Thats great you dont have to support them or watch videos pretaining to them, but there are students, single parents, people who are going through periods of unemployment and news flash a cost of living crisis in many places ! Everyone knows these shops are not ethical but it's not right to guilt people when it may be all they can afford even if they would like to purchase from smaller business' if they had that option. Although its definitely not right to see other influencers spend hundreds on hauls lets not shame the everyday people who may have no other choice but to rely on these brands for school supplies, everyday clothing, basic home furnishings etc. :/
Just know that temu is selling your data and there's thousands of reports of identity theft. Thats just the tip pf the iceberg...but yeah...go ahead and buy the cheap trash. Make every excuse for it.
This was what I just said elsewhere. If the average person can't afford more then shop where you can. But when it's an influencer and you know it's not like shopping on Temu is giving them any breaks financially, they'll probably chuck out the Temu product and replace it with something more built to last. This is where it feels silly personally.
Not yall thinking that expensive brands are more “ethical” & dont have the same horrible, unethical conditions as shien, temu, etc..if you want to take that route research every single place youve got your fancy ass makeup, clothes, shoes & purses from, trust me, they are no better..😂
The same factory makes products for the likes of Temu and much more expensive brands. Do you really think that on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday the workers work in unsafe conditions 12h per day and are paid peanuts while on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays their working conditions miraculously improve and they work 8 hours per day for a lavish wage? No, it only means that a much more expensive brands skims far greater profit.
This is what people don't understand 😂 Everyone is walking around in their Nikes thinking that they're so great bc they don't shop at temu, well guess what? The workers got paid and treated the same but Nike made way more money off them.
I've bought a few orders from Temu and I'm really happy. I thought, it's a cheap thrill, lol. Like going to the dollar store, not much to lose. Any make up I've bought has been absolutely fine.
@@coryannemoen7466 life sucks 🤷. People who don't have a ton of money like me can't afford to worry about tinting bagging up my temu half a world away. The fact that they are overworked is going to happen regardless of if I buy temu or not. And those people working are doing it because they need to make a living too and that's what their options are. What you're griping about has nothing to do with the consumers buying this. It has to do with that country and the way they conduct their own business in their own turf. So maybe you should sponsor some refugees coryanne ? Why don't you send your extra money to them every month and take one off those families out of poverty? I'll send u a list of what I'm getting from temu and you can find all that s*** for the same price I'll buy it from you instead 😀 🙄. Please read a book about how the world works.
I’m not really one to comment on videos, but I literally do so much research (published!) on Chinese based markets. A lot of companies that provide for Shein, Wish and Temu are 1) not ethical, 2) encourage forced, slave and child labour, 3) are incredibly unsanitary!! I completed a study about counterfeit toothpaste. Out of the samples, thousands contained antifreeze and hundreds of people died!!! Make up can contain arsenic, cyanide, faeces and many other incredibly dangerous poisons. Just because your foundation is fine, the next one in the production line could cause great harm. It could literally kill you, cause cancers, make you go blind, chemical burns! Etc!!! Please I beg, do you research and only support companies that are compliant with health and safety standards. The key being, if they are sold in your drug store, they are clinically tested and therefore safe. Please don’t support companies like this.
could you leave a link about toothpaste? googled it and nothing came up. also all the three points in the first paragraph can be applied to any popular brand as well, not like h&m produces ethically in bangladesh or whatever.
Fear mongering.... where do you think all the sellers on Amazon get their products? But they aren't selling for and low prices. Nothing documented about your antifreeze and arsenic claims either. Put link if I'm wrong
@@tisa6193Exactly it's inevitable. People leave comments about it being unethical and they are being abused, etc. I'm sure she is aware of this by now and there are other websites that have the same issue. She doesn't have to avoid this website because of that reason considering she's wanting to try the particular products out. Unpopular opinion but its her career and her decision. No one can make their own choices now without it being picked apart and problematic. If you don't wanna see it get out of watching the video.
I'm 54 and not long ago I got pneumonia which led to Sepsis. I was in a coma and when I came round a week later I was left with scarring on my lungs so I can't work. I live on £210.00 per fortnight and I have to budget everything with that all my bills, tv, etc so this make up is perfect for me as I can't afford a lot. So I'll definitely buy some. Even though I can't get out much when I do I still like to look nice. So thank you for sharing this.

@@alexandrahindleyhere i am barely scrolling and snooping in the comments and bump into yours... Take care of yourself ❤❤❤
I’ve shopped a lot from these sites; and I would 100% recommend their eyebrow products above everything else. Especially for dark hair! My hair is naturally black, and the best brows pencils I have are from Asia, the brands understand how to make dark colours that are rich but not too warm or harsh.
Temu is a marketplace for a lot of Chinese producers on the cheap and there’s so many copies that it can’t be legal. I stopped buying from Shein and Temu because I have ethical and production concerns, especially over human rights. I’ve also heard they aggressively pursue influencers and content creators to try and get collabs. Not trying to put anyone off - everything is your own choice, but that’s my opinion
Although I agree with your sentiment, almost all popular brands are doing exactly the same thing and are just better at hiding it. Only websites like Shein,Temu and AliExpress get the blame even though brands like Adidas for example and many fast fashion and luxury brands are doing exactly the same and don't get has much heat for it.
@@cheezaroseyeah but these companies are doing it to the extreme. Mass production, mass waste the cheaper you do it the less your poorly treated work force gets paid. I tend to not buy from companies now. I'm trying to focus on consuming less but you are right most brands contribute to this. 😢
Completely agree with all of you (and I wasn’t being critical of Steph, because Temu is trending like anything) nor am I overly critical of those who really have to watch their money big time, bc I really, really get it). It’s a really tricky thing to balance out I feel, but I do think companies like Shein and Temu may not be as concerned with their workers’ conditions as bigger, western companies (who I think don’t do enough to check in on their manufacturers). I recently found an outlet where I can access more Essence products and I’m delighted. I also intend to look into companies like wet n wild and Catrice to check their credentials as well - bc I can also access a lot of their products from the notino and just my look websites too. If I can be more ethical, have less nasty ingredients on my skin and spend less that’s what I’m going to do
@@cassmacdonald-perfectlyimp2486 to be honest I always think the cheaper something is the more likely someone/something will be exploited. If people need to buy cheap they also need to reduce their consumption as well not just buy lots and lots of cheap things. Temu makes it so easy for people to buy stuff they don't really need. It's also cheap quality which means it doesn't last and needs replacing regularly.
Why do I feel this is counterfeit makeup ? There is many sketchy brands who copy the exact packaging and put dangerous ingredients inside and only change the name. But I don’t know, it’s just my thoughts 🤷🏻♀️
Counterfeit is when they’re claiming to be a brand - like it actually says the brand name, packaging, ingredient list, etc. But, if they do the same or similar packaging but put their own brand name on it, then it’s not a counterfeit.
@@tashas5074Me too! Everything I've bought has been great! People don't have to buy makeup persay they have so many different categories besides makeup. 😊
They're so cheap because they're losing money on products. Just like Amazon did in the beginning. Sell for a loss, break into a certain market then raises your prices. Cheap doesn't mean the products are bad. They have ethical issues, but the products are fine.
Exactly. It's the data gathering a privacy concerns that people are skipping over. They can change their privacy agreement without notification and openly tell you they sell all your data to anyone at all. You give them access to everything on your phone/laptop and there's some evidence they install spyware. This is on top of the use of forced labor and Temu's lack of concern. There's plenty of complaints about shipping delays and products that never arrive. These little what-have-I-got-to-lose sprees might very well cost you more than 50 quid in the end.
Most famous brands including celebrity brands go to factories in China to produce their products cuz of low labor costs. These same factories who have the formulas make dupes and sell them as off brand with similar or same packaging and logo, just different name. There are no laws on intellectual property in China so maybe that’s why there aren’t lawsuits by big brands
Can people mind their business? She can support and buy watever she wants. If you don't wanna buy don't and done. I buy from them every time and not once i had a problem. So do your thing girl and make so money. Life is hard..not all of us are crazy rich

I love it when you do really cheap makeup! I would love to see you do Tecnic again, I just tried one of their eyeshadow palettes and I was shook by the quality! It's now probably one of my favorites? I was even complimented on the shimmer on a night out by one of my friends:)
To play devil's advocate, mainstream makeup brands have an astronomical markup. There's a reason why celebrities are becoming billionaires off of their makeup companies. L'oreal owns 36 popular brands, they can do drugstore prices (which they're still making a huge profit on), up to high end. How different do you think all of those ingredients are? Sure, we all know about problematic ingredients, but the "good" ingredients are not that revolutionary either. They're just taking advantage of a person wanting to look good. And, many of the largest manufactureing plants are in Asian countries. I'm not saying that TEMU products are equal, I haven't done research on that, but don't be blinded by the fact that cosmetic companies are not that different as a whole. Most of the time you're just paying for better packaging, a name brand, and marketing.
I have placed loads of orders with Temu and never been dissappointed with anything, yeh please do a Part 2 of Temu, your makeup looks flawless on your Steph
I would want to know what is in temu's products. I bought several sun glasses and very poor quality. One had a crack, the blue one was way too tight and broke. No temu for me right now
Thank God somebody else gets bothered by them 24 seven… I made the mistake of giving them my phone number and at least three or four times a day, every single day, they text me saying that there is a major discount, or they have awarded me a gift! It’s absolutely crazy how much they blow your phone up!
I thought this, however I bought the fenty lipgloss dupe and checked the ingredients to the actual fenty gloss bomb and there was the same ingredients (in fact even less ingredients in the TEMU one) except for one, which was Shea butter there isn’t any in the TEMU however its still hydrating and comfortable to wear on my lips. Xx
They will lie and copy the ingredient list as well. It doesnt mean that those exact ingredients are in it or that harmful ones aren't in it. @@claireanthony6142
@@claireanthony6142since those brands aren't certifyed, approved nor follow regulation or quality checks, they can put whatever in the ingredient list, they may even just copy the one from the og product and use it. Omg u did it for years I been trying to find a particular highlighter and after you said mash potatoes I went to Amazon and BAMM it is exactly what I been looking for yesssss
Why are people literally throwing shame for Steph trying Temu it’s actually stupid it’s not u doing it so why does it matter to u. Steph I loved the video and I think it’s great to find cheap products that are good.
I don't think i've ever been less underwhelmed by the colours in an eyeshadow palette when you first showed it ahaha!| But the foundation and concealer look so good what the hell that foundation was like 2 quid!! I'd never heard of this brand. And the knock off packaging is just UNBELIABLE like how on earth do they get away with it ahhaha. Glad to see your videos back my love
Ok... sorry for all the comments. Im a bit (alot) adhd . My thoughts trickle in at rapid speed lol I currently use tarte amazonian clay foundation. I have very oily skin and that is the only foundation I have found that does not give me acne. Do you have any knock off suggestions for that?
I had $239 from a health clinic using my card, my sister and my brother both had $700+ and $400+ taken out of their checking from temu on unauthorized charges. Buyer beware.
Their site is not safe I clicked on my order says site deceptive also put me on recurring payment I didn't sign up for also the offers you click says the same site deceptive I put in a charge back.x
I just bought Fenty dupes on Amazon. 4 matchstx for under 10$ and some even for $5 for 4 stx. I tried it on and has sand consistency and feel and stays on all day. Definitely will be buying more. Don’t have over $30 for one Fenty matchstick.
I understand and agree with supporting labor. However, isn't it time people stand up also for cosmetic companies over pricing all of cosmetics. Really, is any lipstick worth $39.00 dollars. How many eye palettes can you use and how many doubles do you own of shades. Blush, mascara.....it's frank!y ridiculous! I am just as guilty, but, rethinking how much one has and remembering makeup can go bad, dry up, lose effectiveness. Just my thoughts. What is in that makeup? Scary!
Took me years to realize this and still astounded by it. It's easy to get caught up in but when I ended up with 3 that all look the same (bought very separate of various costs, things really aren't that original. Just rebranded. I used to hoard the stuff, it DOES go bad. Not worth unless you love and actually will use up that $40 lipstick. I only have a few times and it took a year.
I think the pronunciation is: Tee-muu. That’s how they say it in their video advertising. I perceived that the ‘mashed potato’ description on some of the makeup products is trying to explain the visual appearance of the texture of the pressed powder
The problem is so many people were brainwashed thinking that expensive brands are the real deal but they produce their products for less than 10£ and sell it for 50£. So judging TEMU is not the way to go and you should be more informed about the big brands and what they do behind scenes lol
I’m so happy that you upload a new video queen 🥹 Your videos help me to escape from the reality and sometimes it’s all you need … Anyway, I hope you’re doing well. Sending you a big hug 🫂❤️
I'm a make up artist Temu has awesome eyeliners and eyebrow pencils the best I've ever used in fact and the variety of colors amazing I'm going to try all of their makeup now the packaging is also fantastic no complaining here also the jewelery i have ordered is beautiful looks even better in on person .
I hope your not using temu products on clients 😬 these products are known to be dangerous, human urine and animal shit has been used in cheap makeup and still is used a lot in cheap makeup, these products also usually don’t have an ingredient list or lie on their ingredients list
Never had issues. These are probably people who may not know how to keep their phones or computer safe online. Clicked on a phishing link unknowingly, downloaded a virus 🦠
24:49 THAT PACKAGING is Louboutin. Years ago Tati Westbrook tested their $90 lipsticks and used them as ornaments on her christmas tree lol So yes total dupe
Was searching the comments to see if anyone else knew it was Christian Louboutin! When she held it up at 25:00 it unlocked a core memory of Tati's video!
I don’t think anything will put me off buying stuff from Temu… I read so many comments but genuinely it’s cheap AF and most people will buy from there regardless of anything else
The mascara packaging looks like Louboutin lipstick packaging from a few years ago, only all silver. The Louboutin and the dupes on Amazon were black with gold tops. The dupes were necklaces that looked like cool vials of ya know...
The "eyeshadow pallets" that u used is a dupe for an asian brand and the "highlighter" u used us supposed to be glitter on your eyes. The reason that the pallete is more cool toned is because it isn't western. Love ur content🥰
I have not tried any make up/skincare stuff from Temu but this video prompted me to look at a few of my eyeshadow palettes. They may be distributed in London, California ( Morphe) but EVERY ONE of them was actually made in China! I am talking Morphe, Urban Decay ( Stoned palette) Revolution and two palettes from Beauty Bay! 🤷♀️🤷♀️
I think you’ll find a large amount of your makeup is made in China. There are a lot of reputable labs there. This really isn’t surprising, especially since all the brands you listed (UD excluded) are budget friendly. There is going to be a trade off.
The fibro blast pen is around $20. It is just as good and even goes up one number higher in the temperature, as the one I paid $100 for! I’m convinced we are able to get products of all types cheaper because of no middle man. Also free shipping and they are great with returns.
I recently learned what the glitter/shimmer in make up comes from and.. wow.. make up isn't that fun anymore. Read about mica and how it's mined by children. All so we can have good highlighters and eyeshadows. Awful.
Have you tried any of the multi color primer beads stuff? It looks gimmicky but Im not a expert on makeup. Ive litterally been taking note on you technique lol
You are gorgeous. I feel like since most companies use China for production, and this is where Temu comes from. It's just a thought, but maybe there is a common factor there. Because I agree, how do they get away with it? Super great video, thank you. I love Temu products.
Me too, that’s exactly what it initially reminded me off. Actually I think if I remember correctly the rose imprint HUDA had in some but that def gave Dior vibes.
I left a thumb up and subscribed. Thank you for taking one for the team 😉 Im so glad Infound your channel. Im tired of spending 100 or more on every temu order because I have to buy 1 of everything inosrder to find the perfect one. Thank you Thank You Thank you 😊Side Note - I've never had any of the temu products eat my face and ive tried ALOT of their makeup (at this time anyway) They have a few awsome household goods also. I love the fork scrubber for dishes and they have a thin grabber tool that cleans clogs out of the vacume hose like a dream. I litterally but one of both for every member in my family last Christmas. I loved them that much.
You look beautiful. Is there anyway you could do green shades for your eyes next? I have green eyes and would love to learn what looks good and how to do it..
I love these kind of videos. Tee-moo is definitely on the dupe train🚂. You definitely need to do more of these. And I’m loving these longer videos too. ❤❤
I am so bummed, found out the foundation was discontinued. I absolutely loved the duey appearance it gave your skin. I am 54 with dry skin and its so hard to find an affordable foundation that doesn't look cakey, was hoping I had found my gem.
W7 have a foundation that blows away all the high end ones I’ve tried and I used to work for Estée Lauder so have tried a LOT (as they own a ton of brands). I think the foundation name is something to do with HD or something, if you reply and are interested, I’ll check the bottle for the exact name. It’s only a few dollars, might be a UK brand but is definitely available in the UK and Australia, idk about the USA. Could search online. It’s one of the only foundations that doesn’t settle into my creases or emphasise texture. L’Oréal infallible in the glass bottle is great too, like amazing for a fuller coverage for mature skin. A dupe for EL double wear but even better. Much pricier than W7 tho. If your skin is dry, you need a good moisturiser and skin care routine, no matter how good of a foundation you use. Cerave is a good and affordable skin care brand. Hope this helps.
Love, 70% of the things you buy do the same thing but just hide it better. Besides, temu has actual shops from China (that have shops in cities) on there as well. It really depends on WHERE you order from. Temu is the site, but they have a boatload of shops and big companies (like the ones who make dupes. 3CE makeup dupes, the company that makes that has an actual store) on there
If they (the influencers promoting it) were getting it lab tested and its good..it be nice to know, but half the products people pay a fortune for is made in the same sweatshops as the cheap shit.. but it can be very different base products. ..
@@LexieDeWitt1Temu is a selling platform with warehouses, that various sellers/manufacturers can sell their merchandise on. Like Amazon. I couldn’t find most of our North American brands when travelling overseas, and if I did they were sold for an arm and a leg! I had to purchase brands that were unknown to me but well known in that specific country. Plus Aliexpress and Temu have Vegan cosmetics that pass the ingredient list test. They function just as great as the more expensive brands I have purchased.
If you need a legit dupe of luminous silk by Giorgio Armani I can recommend you the skin perfector by Wycon. I tired both. I mean I got a sample once of the luminous silk in an order and I thought it was decent but not impressive considering the price. Expecially as I was testing a foundation at the time which was equally as good if not even better. Except it was a limited edition one so I can't recommend that. But the Wycon one is incredibly impressive in comparison. It has a hydrating formula with aloe vera and rosemary extract and something other too. It doesn't accentuate texture that much and it looks glowy as hell but not oily. Like it has a nice intense natural glow. And it doesn't move on my face. Like wtf? I tried their satin finish or silk finish one and it moves as you smile it's that glowy. It takes a proper second to set. But this one... Makes me regret falling in love for a 19,50 euro foundation. Like it's a lot for me. But it's so incredibly good. The first time I tired it I asked my mom to comment on my skin. And she legit said it was really good looking but didn't mention anything more. I told her I was wearing both foundation and highliter and she didn't notice. And she can tell when I'm all covered in foundation. She has done it many times. Telling me I look ghostly white etc. But that time. She said no word about the foundation I had on. Btw Wycon is an italian makeup brand. I forgot to add it has a medium to full coverage.
@@braininsink the highliter I used is now discontinued. It was something like the Charlotte Tilbury flawless filter or Hollywood glow but by essence. Plus let's not talk about that foundation. As today it looked not so good on me and this foundation has a little design flaw. The pump tends to get stuck sometimes on the lid and since it's a squeezy tube packaging it's not screwed in. So the pump got stuck again after travelling and as I tired to open it, foundation flew all over the tablecloth. I was able to salvage most of it. But I had to clean everything which made me late. Good on me for deciding to do a full face for the day before going to do the weekly shopping across town. Also I'm gutted the essence highliter glow glow go is discontinued. Maybe I should try the elf halo glow since it seems to be the same. Oh well at least I have my Wycon Strobe fusion highliter which is also discontinued in my shade. But I've got tons of other makeup and highliters to go through.
Ok!! If the Armani dupe works i will absolutely DIE!! I ordered both colors and several other things!! Im so excited for all rhe dupes!! Thanks darling💋💚

If you really knew what happens at ALL manufacturing factories across the globe, including the USA, you’d have to boycott every product in your home. I worked in the auto manufacturing industry and the factories are horrible…you should boycott your vehicle. You should probably boycott any hospitals or doctors because they have grueling jobs and work days and day without a day off, and work hours without a break. Boycott any medications you’re taking, because the factories producing your medicines have grueling work practices. Don’t use any cleaning products because I guarantee the factories producing them are horrible. I used to work WEEKS and weeks without a day off, in a factory that was 140° inside. The fans in that factory would be dripping in black sludge and we’d be standing in puddles of coolant from our machines leaking. We’d have to ask to use the restroom because you absolutely could not leave your job site, and sometimes would have to wait an hour just to use the bathroom. We had a 20 minute lunch break in a 16 hour shift, which gave you just enough time to heat your food and shovel it in your mouth as fast as you could. If you want to boycott due to work practices, boycott everything you use! People really have no idea what the manufacturing industry is like across the world 🙄🤦🏻♀️
Making cosmetics is cheap in bulk. The price goes up with advertising, type of packaging, models used. Cut out the high priced models, and insane advertising that ingrains and brainwashes people into buying said product, and you’ve cut the price down to almost half!!!
Some of the brands are real if u do the research pudier , focullare and so on alot of things are made in a factory and they just stamp another brand on it its exactly the same product..
Focallure is actually an extremely popular drugstore brand in some Asian countries. I thought it was Indonesia and the Philippines. But did that research like 7yrs ago, so I forgot the exact countries. But it's legit, and so are Pudier and a few others on Wish that are now sold on Temu. You can even read what's regulated there, with some searching online. I remember being shocked that they were often stricter than the US. They follow the EU in most things and we're the strictest when it comes to ingrediënt regulations.
I’ve been using Temu’s nail products for years now. The makeup I’ve tried hasn’t been great but I haven’t tried many, tbh. I’m excited about that mascara “butt plug”! Your lashes looked amazing even before you put the fake ones on. I tried the “Caprice dupe” and it was not good. Temu is an experience and fun to see what you get. Definitely worth the money if you don’t mind a lot of things piling up.😂
If you're privileged enough to buy expensive stuff good for you but don't go sh*tting on people who can't afford that kind of luxury. We've got people here talking about "where your morals lie" you can't afford to care about ethically sourced products and labor affairs if you're poor and broke.
Temu is NOT a scam. I am buying on a regular basis from them, and when something is broken, you can ask them to reship the item (which they do right away), or you can get a refund. They have pretty much everything possible, and they are very cheap. The quality is good too. :)

I love your reactions Steph, you always keep it 💯 & let us know whether we're being mugged off or not 😂👌 I got the best angled micro eyebrow pencil in the perfect neutral mid-brown from tiktok shop for 47p & just bought 5 more 😂 When ordering from these types of places where make up is super cheap or questionably affordable, I'm wary of & avoid foundation/BBs/skin tints in case they've got dodgy shit in them, cos 90% of time packaging have little to no ingredients listed and do not need my poor face to flare up 😬
It’s all cheap junk and every clothing item is cheap polyester , I wish I hadn’t wasted the money I have on it , half of it breaks the first couple times you use it or doesn’t work at all. To each their own but I’m done with it not to mention you have to wait 2 weeks to get it and returning stuff is such a pain and frankly the clothes and shoes are way overpriced for the quality
All im saying is there are people who have to put this stuff together they need workers, the reason they can keep things so cheap is probably they dont pay their workers a livable wage, straight sweat shop vibes.

But when it's an influencer and you know it's not like shopping on Temu is giving them any breaks financially, they'll probably chuck out the Temu product and replace it with something more built to last. This is where it feels silly personally.
I guess it depends where your moral boundary lies...
I love the mashed potatoes on the eyes! I think do this every time but no matter what, it never looks seamless like yours.

Nothing to lose for you what about the workers, they can keep things cheap cause it's a sweat shop they are not being paid a livable wage.

I'll send u a list of what I'm getting from temu and you can find all that s*** for the same price I'll buy it from you instead 😀
🙄. Please read a book about how the world works.
yes , it’s sad for them but they’d still be working there wether I buy stuff or not .
This comment needs to be pinned
Agreed.
could you leave a link about toothpaste? googled it and nothing came up. also all the three points in the first paragraph can be applied to any popular brand as well, not like h&m produces ethically in bangladesh or whatever.
I’ve shopped a lot from these sites; and I would 100% recommend their eyebrow products above everything else. Especially for dark hair! My hair is naturally black, and the best brows pencils I have are from Asia, the brands understand how to make dark colours that are rich but not too warm or harsh.
I agree! 🤌
People don't care about human rights as long if it's vegan and affordable it's just fine with the majority.
But I don’t know, it’s just my thoughts 🤷🏻♀️
yeah i feel like you really never know with these brands. hope everyone buys from temu with caution
I don't buy makeup from places like these but otherwise, their products are the same products you can find in stores just cheaper.
Counterfeit is when they’re claiming to be a brand - like it actually says the brand name, packaging, ingredient list, etc. But, if they do the same or similar packaging but put their own brand name on it, then it’s not a counterfeit.
@@onewhisper22005 they still have the same exact packaging and something tells me they only change the name to not get sued
How can these be considered counterfeit? I don't see any name brands on these packages. These are called "cheap dupes"

Such a great review…now you also have to spill on the highlighter!!!
Thanks darling💋💚
i hope everyone in the comment section complaining about how temu/shein/etc are unethical know just how many products they use that are manufactured or assembled in chinese facilities. the laptop youre using, the cell phone in your hand, parts of the car you drive. all of those are manufactured in china. i find it hypocritical that y'all are complaining about make up dupes being made unethically when youre using unethically made products all the freaking time. its a product of capitalism and i hate to break it to you but we live in a capitalist society.
There is no way I'll ever buy from Temu or Shein and the like, and I don't know how anyone with a conscience can. Have you ever wondered how they can produce that stuff for so cheap? It's major exploitation of people. Inform yourself people. If you don't care, knock yourself out. Sorry for being a wet blanket.
👏👏👏👏
Iv genuinely come across like 2 TH-camrs or influencers who care. Its pretty disgusting
@@amyfarrelly4580 I unfollow them. Not that it matters to them. But when someone like Laura Lee with 8 million followers does a sponsored Temu video, then that's just greedy. I guess she can literally afford to decline.
@@Fiercely_Nic shein is the exact reason I unfollowed Laura Lee. That time she did her collab, new stuff came out about them again that exact week, I commented that and she deleted my comments 😂 they all work with them and use their products even my fav Robert Welsh. Its upsetting tbh. No money is worth promoting any of them
If you really knew what happens at ALL manufacturing factories across the globe, including the USA, you’d have to boycott every product in your home.
I must admit first look it looks lovely but you know how does it wear ? my love liz Xx happy new year have a good one xxxx
The pallets reminde me or are inspired by the Dior pallets
Temu is NOT a scam. I am buying on a regular basis from them, and when something is broken, you can ask them to reship the item (which they do right away), or you can get a refund. They have pretty much everything possible, and they are very cheap. The quality is good too. :)
Temu is of course dupe city, much like the tiktok shop, wish & shein makeup!! I love your reactions Steph, you always keep it 💯 & let us know whether we're being mugged off or not 😂👌 I got the best angled micro eyebrow pencil in the perfect neutral mid-brown from tiktok shop for 47p & just bought 5 more 😂
When ordering from these types of places where make up is super cheap or questionably affordable, I'm wary of & avoid foundation/BBs/skin tints in case they've got dodgy shit in them, cos 90% of time packaging have little to no ingredients listed and do not need my poor face to flare up 😬
I can’t continue watching TH-camrs who still review Temu or Shein, when everyone should know the issues with them by now.
Don't agree at all
@@Godwins77777 That, and their parent company has proven human rights violations.
I'm so disappointed! Several have been discontinued. 😢 I wanted to try the foundation so bad! Thank you for the review/ tutorial ❤
I just watched a documentary on how unsanitary the manufacturers facilities are. ( plus all the problems everyone else mentioned)
LOL Temu (tea-moo) is the best and extremely addictive.
The highlighter pallet was a dupe for the dior one !!!
I would be interested to find out how the foundation wore if anyone has tried it? It looked beautiful but Steph has gorgeous skin.
Omg,love the mascara comment!!! 😂😂😂😂
All im saying is there are people who have to put this stuff together they need workers, the reason they can keep things so cheap is probably they dont pay their workers a livable wage, straight sweat shop vibes.
do you go to pl high school because ur mirror has pl on it
I love your hair color. The Ash tones are beautiful with your complexion.
