Like a lot of his insights but the talk against deadlifts/powercleans & promoting weightraining that early is just plain wrong

He won Mr. Universe and had 3 kids go D1, 2 made the NFL, 1 was the top recruit in the country at his position coming out of HS. So with all due respect I don't know why we should trust you over him

@@joedorben3504 i understand where youre coming from, he has credibility with his record. But these are tried and true fundamentals in bodybuilding and football strength training that shouldnt be ignored. Check out JB's bodybuilding posing, for example. Zero lower back development because he did no deadlifts. Also, his kids were doing powercleans for the football strength coaches anyways. Its proven to make you more explosive. You shouldnt trust me, you should trust the countless examples where those 3 things listed yielded superior results, instead of looking at an exception. JB is also against sprinting, which is pretty crazy for the dad of nfl players.

@@TayDays1128 John Brown KNOWS what he’s talking about. There is a sports training program and a powerlifting training and a bodybuilding training program. All three are different.
You don’t do heavy squats, deadlifts until you are fully grown (height)… how tall are you ? John Brown was 6ft2, his sons afe 6ft5 and 6ft2. I am 6ft5. My father coached me he was 6ft2.

@@julienporisse9902 I'm 6'4, max bodyweight was 223 squatting 400+, deadlifting 500+, benching 350. 4.5 or 4.6 40. I'm not gonna knock results, as the Brown family has produced plenty, but I think sticking to fundamentals is whats gonna work for most people.

The athletic resume does not compare JB was an elite athlete and as a sports dad he once said 'put my boy at the end of the bench and make him earn it' or something similar while LB was yanking his youngest out the 10th grade over a squabble with his coach and erasing his NCAA eligibility in that process. Nah. No comparison
