Most underrated band ever
To all who have never heard Shinedown live.....DO IT NOW!!! Brents live vocals are top notch. Nowhere near what most bands sound like live!!

i must say this is there best live performances in the spot.
you can watch videos from this concert where you hear that Brent sang perfectly...i dont understand why they took the studio vocal line... -.-
shinedown is amazing live brent has such an amazing and powerful and emotional voice to his music i love this band and im so happy to call that man my friend in the real world yes i am friends with him
just love this band.. enjoy the music.. have fun at Concerts.. Shindown has to be one of the best live bands.. Papa Roach is my favorite.

I'm not sure why Shinedown wanted to sound like this, but it had to of been for the video only. You look at videos of their current tour now, years ago, acoustic stuff, Brent hardly ever fakes a note. Not saying he hasn't, I know he uses vocal tracks/backing tracks. They do it for a reason of course. He's an amazing & true musician, yet still gets criticized. Just shows how high of a level people expect musicians to be nowadays, they will always let you down at some point if you think that way.
@Queensryche2806 thats not the germans tv blame..i asked them why they took the studio vocals (and part of guitar). Their answer was that Shinedown wanted to sound like this. WDR (Rockpalast) only did what Shinedown wanted.
Will look it up now mate.
Just found out they are playing in London tomorrow so i will go and see what i think.
I have really grown to there album and they have defiantly made it as one of my favorite bands!

I don't think it's fake... They did this show live but I think it was like recording session at the Music Hall and doing the show to make the videos...IF, that's the case, I bet they had to record the songs over and over until the director got the shots and video he like so he and the producers go to the editing room and cut half it on the floor/ so to speak/ it's all digital, yeah, but it's the same thing as when it was actual tape. Ya think?

Zach's chorus are live, maybe that's a clue about the origin of the soundtrack but it's true that's strange the way the lips are moving and the clearness of the instrument's sound...

people have to understand that a singer's voice can't be perfect everyday.just listen to various lives of a band.some sound good and sometimes better than the studio version while some sound way off.All i know is that Brent has real talent and AMAZING vocals though sometimes his voice gets tired and doesn't sound as good and maybe that's why they dubbed...

Do they play completely to track now or is this all fixed in post for tv? Some of the vocals are totally off computer and so are all the background and second guitar parts. All of Brents vocal line was either fixed in post or sang to track. This is my favorite band ever and I hope this isn't how it is in concert now. There was just as much played straight of program at the board as live music.

I wanna see these lads live but it worries me that they have to put the studio vocals over, that says to me that they might be fucking terrible live.

heres the part that bothers me.. I'm fine with the dubbing if that's how they want to sound then let them, the part that i hate is that it's just a normal show. If you are going to sound like the album then DO something the album doesn't. Have pyro give the viewers a show, not only for the audience but every person that is watching this on german TV or youtube or what have you.

I hate the drum sound. I hate the vocals of the background singer. I hate the guitar sound. I hate the bass sound. I only like the voice of the singer and that's why it's playback on TV. But I know how bad he sings live...So...Shinedown is good on CD, but live it's totally shit. Not worth the money. Go to BSC and you get a live show you want to see.
