I'm still riding my m365 that I got before I watched this video 4 years ago. Everything is original even the battery but vibration is making it fall apart.
I finally came up on the pro screen and am going to do this upgrade, the screen came from some white segway but it's identical to the m365 pro board. Thank you for this video, I've wanted to do this for a while but am scrd of flashing the controller.
I'm kinda proud of the odometer, do you know if it will reset if I flash to upgrade the screen?
If it does I might not upgrade, might have a m365 with more wiles then anyone and it's still not showing any drop in power (I go about 2mile trips maybe 3 times a week) and always make sure the battery is fully charged but I think the bms (also never flashed) is keeping max charge at 38v. Not sure where I heard that but something I remember from back in the day when first got it and was looking into modding.

When the battery has a cell bank starting to go instead of just replacing the bad cells can I just upgrade the battery and somehow change the setting of amp hours it has because I've seen in the m365 app that it shows set amp hours. Oh that app is probably where I seen max voltage charge power.
Also headlight flashes and effects power if turned on but I never use it. Think I seen its on the battery bms but again it was a long time ago.

Yeeh! good video!! the only way to update the firmware with that board is using a st-link, although as you say it is better to plug in the old board when you want to change the firmware. A greeting.

It looks like your the guy to ask so.... what setup would you rec. firmware for sure. I try this and when i.m trying to flash with 155 gonka it shows error 10?and it works only with 151 like an stock one eco and sport no drive any answers?

I have the pro 2 And I installed the BLE via Bluetooth, when it was finished the screen froze and I pressed the powere button and closed the screen. Then it never reopened. The BLE I installed was for the pro 1, if I buy the screen of pro 1 and put it on the skate do you think it will work? in essence the skate has the new screen of pro 2. So maybe it doesn't match the BLE I installed on this screen.

flashed the bluetooth firmware then flashed with custom firmware and the battery indicator immediately jumped to red, speed meter stopped working.... what am I doing wrong?
You should probably invest in a pair of side cutters , using a draft knife is dodgey as for cutting cable ties

Hi I did everything that’s in the video the problem is that after everything I’m having an annoying error 14 when I plug my scooter and in full battery it doesn’t error but when it goes 85% and below the error 14 occurs. I’m on drv 1.55 and bms bl on 10201
So my Firmware is 1.5.2 and i bought the pro Dashboard but the light is not working and i cant switch between drive modes like in this video, i have an iPhone and there is an App called „m365 downG“ in the apple store, what bin files are needed and where can i find those files to fix this problem?

Great video, just installed mine yesterday. 2 issues I can’t figure out, I am not able to switch to MPH, I change it on the mi home app, but it doesn’t change it on the dash, I also tried other app like M365 dashboard, M365 plus but no luck, also I am not able to update firmware, just says error.

I have a really important question! I have an normal Xiaomi m365 with an extra battery so it's already flashed. But know I want to upgrade too pro display because the old power button don't work. How can I flash so the pro display and the extern battery are connected both
Got mine working by using St link flashing the BLE. my only issue is when I turn on the front headlight the scooter goes nuts screen flickering and motor start engaging by itself 🤔 I've tried 2 different displays off amazon now both are doing this. If I unplug the front light the scooter works perfectly fine so strange

Looks like you have a clone board, the original board does not flash the Bluetooth LED icon.
Also how do you go back to the 4 LED firmware ?? I had 1.5.5 and then it upgraded to 1.6.6.
Now If i try to swap back, the leds just count down, and then the scooter turns off. It must be a firmware issue.
Any ideas ?
Good watch Pirate ! , my M365 is off the road ,the blue switch on the dashboard has worn away , so i ordered a new one, and for good measure i ordered a new controller too. Post me the old dashboard ! .I miss riding my M365.

in my M365 I have software ver. 1.51. Can I upgrade it directly to the 1.5.5 or I have to downgrade it to 1.4.1 or even lower? Which soft generator should I use ideally?

Thanks for this video man, it helped me to do this job. I found I could do the firmware upgrade on the xiaomi home app and got 29kph straight away just choose the pro version firmware when the app gives the option.

@@Al1Shah I will try, when i fitted the new pro display to the M365 I did it exactly like he shows on the video, but when he updated the firmware in the video he used an app called m365 downG. This app is not an official Xiaomi app and he had to find the firmware separately.When I updated the firmware I used the official "Xiaomi home" app from google play store so I did not have to find the firmware myself. hope this helps, if not let me know and I'll try to make a video to show you more.
Paul Ryder I think I understand. Basically I am thinking about buying a xiaomi scooter but I’m unsure on whether to get the pro or normal (and just install the pro dashboard). The main reason is the further distance that appeals to me. Other than that, there seems to be no difference. What do you suggest?
@@Al1Shah yes the only difference between the basic m365 and pro is larger battery (longer range) and slightly faster. if you buy the basic m365 and do the display and firmware update it is essentially a pro version with slightly less range. I've had my scooter for a year now and done 1000km on it. If you're planning on using it for journeys longer than 10 miles I'd buy the pro, for anything within 10 miles the basic m365 can handle it with ease.

I used the iOS version of m365 downg to install a cfw 1.4.2 couple weeks ago. Everything worked fine. Then today, I received the pro dashboard. I tried making my own gonka365 1.5.5 firmware and I tried the firmware in the description. In both cases, the iOS app said the flashing was “done”. But the firmware stays at 1.4.2. Any ideas?

Hey there had a question I live in a unicorperated area where junk yards were now being made to house tract and a field they were clearing a worker found a bird scooter first ( gen bird 1 ) the ones you buy for ( $1,200 ) and he said If i wanted it said sure pushed it home bad shape cables and accerler wire .. so gona contact bird in Santa Monica calif . See if they can trace it to owner if they are registered..see if he wants it back .. would it cost a lot to refurbish it and make it usable ..

Hello, how should I set the monitor, I don't see the speed and battery status, on the phone I see everything
Followed the instructions after successfully flashing DRV155 The display shows 10 and a red wrench. It turns off automatically after 15 seconds which doesn’t allow me to connect via Bluetooth to M365_down or the mi app. Pretty much bricked my scooter. Now I have to st Iink to unbrick my controller or buy a whole new one. Be careful!
had a similar issue, showed 14 and a red wrench. I was able to fix it by putting the old PCB back on and using a 1.3.8 build from m365.botox.bz/ and flashing with play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.m365downgrade

Hey everyone! I have a major problem which might have killed my scooter. I did everything Pirate said to (swapped out the board, downloaded all 3 FW files, etc.) and when I went to upload the FW onto the scooter, I was able to upload all 3, but the scooter still behaves as it did before the updates. It looks like everyone else only did the DRV FW updates, and theirs worked. Is there any way I can clear all the FW updates off the scooter, so I can start from scratch with the 1.3.8 FW again?

Hey, you might be able to help me yo understand something. I replaced my norma dashboard for the pro one. As soon as I did that, my scooter got much more powerful, reaching top speed in less than 3 seconds. I was able to go up a very steep hill and it went all the way up without any help.
I was super happy with this side effect but this morning I noticed that the scooter is back to what it was before. The only difference is a new dashboard. Has anyone experienced that?

2 questions, can you flash the speed to unlock the 32km & second can you change KMH to MPH?
I believe you just need to change the setting in your app. For example, I personally prefer km (I'm in Canada 😁) and I just went into the app and selected which I want it on.
Will this mod work with the standard firmware update on the mi m365, by just plugging it in and no custom firmware needed, will it work as a straight replacement thanks

Hi, In M365_downG, I can connect to the new dash baord upgrade. I can also check version and battery info. But when I go to Open bin there are no files to open. Where do I get these files to upgrade the dashboard so it works with my Xiaomi Scooter. Any help appreciated. For time being I have resorted to my original dash board.
hi Mohammed, I discovered today that you can use the official "xiaomi home" app from google play store to do the firmware update so you don't need to find the files separately. When you register with the app and connect your scooter via bluetooth it will tell you a firmware update is available, and give the option of m365 firmware or pro firmware. Choose the pro and it works great.
