Very cute, love the fabric. Love that you made sure to iron, which makes the final product look beautiful, very important when you sew. The video was long but worth it. I was sewing making the casserole hot pads as I watched.
Deanna, I’ve been watching you silently for way over a year now. I’ve watched you create for 2 craft fairs and have admired you really! But seeing this beautiful project, I had to moment. I’m 65 years old and disabled. So you bring me so much joy watching you craft in every way! So thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing your craftiness with all of us! May God bless you in every way possible!🙏🏻
Oh my goodness! What fabulous fabric panels! You could make a table runner with the Santa flying in the sky with his reindeer in the middle. The big Santa panel is a perfect Santa sack! Precious….LOVE the bag panels. My mom and I used to quilt when I was in my 20s, and I stopped when busy raising my girls. I am thinking about getting back into doing small crafty quilt things like this.❤❤. What a wonderful gift for your friend. Merry Christmas, friend!!
So cute. I have been trying to make handmade bags for Christmas but my machine stopped working. I've been in a bad mood. I can't afford to have my sewing machine fixed. But I spent a lot of money on materials. My machine is 22 years old, so I can't complain.
I’m new to the sewing world; I want to do something like this for my baby, with her clothes from her first year of life. For the back of the blanket, I want to use either fleece or flannel but have not had much experience with either. In your experience, what has been easier to work with? Would you suggest skipping the fusible fleece and just sew it straight to the back fabric or add that in as well? Thank you! :)
