I feel like with Klopp, we played like a swarm of bees. We were relentless, and we'd keep sending wave after wave until we're all spent. Now with slot we seem to play like a pack of wolves. We prod, stalk, and have a few inquisitive bites, but once we've determined that our opponent is there for the taking, we pounce and go for the kill.
An great metaphorical comparison. I also think that in the Klopp version it was so full on, we sometime found us a bit exposed to transitions whereas the slightly more measured approach under slot feels less vulnerable to be hit with a breach should the attack breakdown or the opposition to get a fortuitous turnover.
Watched the game last night in Hanoi kicked off at 3am local time… glad I stayed up for it! Missus was asleep so I managed to celebrate both goals silently jumping around the room but accidentally woke her up with a GET THE FUCK IN LAD at the Bradley tackle 😬
Brilliant result and performance. Interesting narrative around injuries, the commentators couldn’t stop mentioning the amount of injuries Real Madrid had but never once mentioned the fact Liverpool didn’t have Alisson, Tsimikas, Chiesa or Jota plus Alexander-Arnold clearly not fit enough to play despite being on the bench. Hope Bradley & Konate are fit for Sunday but even if they aren’t no doubt it will be Man City who are ravaged with injuries according to the masses 😂
Having Josh Williams suggesting we are best team in world highlights just how crazy this is. I think it confirms the potential we started seeing last year with Klopp's Liverpool 2.0 and the tactical mastery of Slot as he turns a few dials here and there to make us better than the some of our parts.
Excellent segment in the middle with that fella over housing. I’m dealing with this exact issue in Kirkby. In the same ward as our billion pound beloved racehorses
I have a theory, we will sell the Georgia keeper for a quick profit. We bought out his relatively cheap buy out clause, real possibility we can get 50-60 million for him.
They need to give kelleher a new contract. Guarantee him more and more games over the next 3 years. 30, 35 & 40. Allison has to be aware his time is coming to an end and he can be the champions league keeper and get less and less games in the league
Great seeing more of Gibbo this week. I thought at the time that 2-0 flattered Madrid. They were decent about that after the game to be fair.I agree with Rob on this one- I was worried about our midfield against Bellingham and Modric before the game, ut we owned them. On to the next one!
i day if Salah and Arnold wants to leave then... LET THEM GO ... give VvD a new contract... I dont want players that come more OUT than IN cryptic messages in the press. If Trent wants to play in Madrid rather than Liverpool then he can look in envy when we win trophies
34:14 Not really out of nowhere, they subbed out 2 of their main guys for 2 children, I guess the other players got the message the game was done and relaxed. Obviously not ideal in terms of mentality, but that will not happen at Anfield
I thought Starmer has everything in control with a big budget, seeing that he STILL gives billions of pounds to Ukraine. Maybe the UK houses/flats that fly the Ukraine flag outside gets grants from Starmer. Great segment in this podcast 🎉
The injuries at the end took away the shine of the win. The fella on the left talked about Slot learning from Klopp in terms of player injuries, but allowing Bradley to hobble for five minutes and then pull up wasn't learning anything (also dont recall Klopp ever allowing that to happen). That looked costly. The defence could be majorly weakened for Sunday which is a much bigger game.
I'm just here to berate all you idiots who said we shouldn't rotate in the near-dead rubber Madrid game and now we won't have Konate for City, Newcastle away and the last Goodison derby, hope you're proud of yourselves.
@@DH-TV I said "near-dead rubber" which is exactly what it was, we were basically already qualified for the next round within the top 8, Madrid was a much, much less important game compared to our next 3, if you care about winning trophies that is.

So we transition from a swarm of bees to a pack of wolves. Wolves we be wahoooooo
Couldn't have said it better
Thank you Mr Attenborough

I love how worked up Rob was. Supporters have been on fire, pushing the boys towards greatness the last 6 weeks. Thank you

Fair play mate proper fan 👊
How is it 3am in Hanoi when the kick off is 4am in Kuala Lumpur
@@calvinang1Hanoi is an hour behind Kuala Lumpur
@@tomhadfield23 good maths 👍🏻

That TNT sports commentary is absolutely abysmal
12:32 Good call by Josh, they also mentioned that moment on Spanish TV as one of the reasons Mbappe got discouraged and didn't play well
Congratulations for 100k guys , This channel genuinely inspired me and to go into a similar field albeit not covering the mighty reds! YNWA

Faith in the team.
Faith in the players.
Faith in the crowd.
ZERO faith in the Manc refs to fairly do their fucking job without bias.
Really appreciate the free contents 👍
100k subs, congrats guys 👏
Wise words Rob. One game at a time
Great shout by Rob in the end there, one game at a time ❤
10:04 Underrated point, Kelleher is not much worse at shot-stopping than Mamarda, and with the ball at his feet it's like comparing Messi to Maguire

I think it'll come down to which is more desired in the summer. Which one will stay with us.

JOSH WILLIAMS!! 🎉
Interesting that Slot's presser is 3pm today and not Friday morning - leaving time for a contract announcement?

More likely to free up friday for maximum training time.
@cyb1986 - if that was the case, all pressers would have been Thursday this season, it could be nothing contract wise but will see
Or to spend more time with his family who are over for a few days
The Slots out getting some Black Friday deals in the city
I don’t understand why we bought Mamadashvili, Caoimh should be Ali’s successor
100k. Well in lads
"On another night Darwin scores two there"
What night is dat den???
Here's to a 100k more up the Reds.
Bradley was my MoTM actually… snuffed out Mbappe. Boss boy

very exciting times, but we do need luck with injuries etc... keeping Salah ok, VVD... Konate.... etc... 64% ...fingers and toes crossed!!!
John 'Errrrrrrrrrrmmmmmmmmmm' Gibbons
Shades of Dara Ó Briain
We didn't look like a English team in Europe
The rondos in the corner 2nd half at 2-0.
Curtis was magnificent
WHAT A WIN THAT WAS THEN
In a relatively low-stakes match...bordering on a dead-rubber. If it'd been a UCL quarter home leg, then I'd agree 100%.
Its ok for madrid you go to anfield its normal to lose barca understand.
We are good yknow

Wrong video mate
@ronniehotdogs130 if it was the wrong video then why would the Anfield Wrap dedicate a segment to highlight this economic problem in the UK... MATE
No Ricky Gervais?

It doesn't matter if we're 5 points ahead if we lose ,we aren't winning the league
Overall I agree, it’s a mentality thing. I think it hinges on this game
The oracle has spoken 👀
