Thank you, the glue is made with tylose powder (CMC) Mixed 3 tablespoons of water with the powder it is also known as gumtex powder. It will look lumpy give it 10 mins or so to soften. Then mix it will become clear. I only use this as my glue instead of just water. Hope this helps.
@@alialyounes3009 Hi, I mix 1/8 teaspoon of tylose powder or known as CMC or gumtex with 3 tablespoon of cool water. Mix and let sit approximately 10 mins, then remix it should become clear. Hope this helps.
Hi, no it's not necessary. You can use the end of a clean art brush or something like put cling wrap over a cotton bud. Anything you may have to make the holes with for the eyes, etc.
@@lilaromazhandcraftednz wow thanks for your reply! I’ll do that I have just found some cheap balling tools on Amazon so I may just give them a go I didn’t realise they were so cheap!😂 thank you 🙂
😀 Hi, no problem. The tools aren't necessary but can make things easier. You can make do with things in your kitchen, eg plastic straw for the dinosaur scales, normal kitchen knife instead of a fondant one, etc. I hope your cake and topper turns out well for your son's birthday.
What tool did you use to make the scale imprints? I super appreciate you sharing the number of grams. This makes sense! Did you have a finished cake you put this on?
Hi thank you.😊 I used a clay tool tip but you can use the end of a plastic straw which will give you the same result. I did use the dinosaur on my granddaughter's cake, then it was given away to someone who wanted to keep it.
Sorry that it wasn't a good angle to see, has been hard to get the right angle using my mobile phone to film them. Thanks for your feedback on it, will try a different approach next time.
All fondant weight of each body part is shown in the video. Happy Creating and Enjoy!
Such great work! What is the “glue” made of?

How tall is the completed dinosaur using the weight of fondant you used?
Thanks.
The dinosaur was approximately 10-12cm tall. If you adjust the amount of fondant used you can make him a bit bigger or smaller if you wish.
Amazing 🤩
Thank you😊
Are the balling tools absolutely necessary? I have to make a dinosaur cake for my sons 2nd and I’m panicking at everything im going to need😂
