I’ve used variations of this ruler for decades-maybe 50 years-when they used to be branded as C-Thru rulers. I like the ones with a beveled edge-much easier to use when drawing lines. I keep one of the little 6-inch rulers in each of my pencil bags and a few of the bigger ones at home. They’re one of the classic time-tested products that I’m grateful are still made today.
Oh my gosh, sweet little Rose has the cutest snore, hehe! 🥰 Thank you for this review! I had no idea these rules existed. Just ordered the 12" one and can't wait to use it with my sketchbook! 🤩
I love hearing dogs snore - Rose is darling as always! That mandala is amazing!! I noticed you are now over 90K subscribers - congratulations - you are well on your way!!
I'm so glad to hear that the numbers and the grid don't ware off. You must have read my mind. I have one and love it. It's very useful. ❤❤😊😊 Karen from Canada.
I had one of these years ago, lost it. So just yesterday I decided to order a long one and a 6”. I couldn’t believe that you are reviewing these today🤓
I'm with you in the rulers favorite list. I discovered these when I was doing a lot of quilting, and also sketching. My quilting one is 18" x 4", perfect for making 4x4 squares. Westcott, the most useful brand. The plastic doesn't get brittle, either, so you will use them until you lose them, not until someone breaks them :-D
Total unrelated question, but some links on the coloring bliss website are broken… I went to the coloringbliss website, and I was looking to buy your paper sampler, and I will, but also decided to get the mixed media paper on a larger pack and followed your amazon link to it on your site. However the link is broken. Does coloring bliss has an affiliate amazon link to the full ream of your Mixed Media paper? I’d like to buy the mixed media paper from amazon but preferably in a way that you get some revenue. Also, what is the exact brand/specs/model of the mixed media paper and where can I find it? The old paper video (from 3y ago) said IP Springhill Accent Opaque Cover Smooth, but that is 271gsm and not 176gsm, as stated on the sampler pack (and also stated on last year’s paper video) so clearly the choice for mixed media paper changed.
I really wish one of the edges was metal. For cutting. So there’d be no reason for more than one ruler. Other than that it’s a great tool. Thank you for sharing.
I have that ruler since the early eighties. It was very useful for me as a Patternmaker/designer.

Those are a staple in my life. I own several versions of this style , one being an 8.5" square.

My mom used this when she did quilting. I've been using this ruler for several years and have the 1" X 6" clear Wescott ruler as well. Love them both!
Holy cow! Your mandala is stunning! 😍😍😍

My Wescott plastic ruler broke in half. Afterward I switched to a metal ruler.
You already showed this ruler, or you don't remember?
