MINECRAFT 1.20.4: Like an Old Guy - base building (day 5)

With the body-cam issues addressed, we emerge from the mineshaft and visit our neighbors in the village. Being concerned with the safety of the residents, we plan to improve their lighting and construct a wall. We start by ensuring we will have sufficient material throughout the effort by establishing a tree farm. While doing so, we discover an unexpected, though welcomed creature. In the village itself, we start by re-arranging the living situation of several villagers -- having them bunk up together to encourage reproduction (wink-wink).
In our mineshaft we continue mining out four hallways at each level, bottom-up, during which effort we discover nearly every precious metal and ore available.
