  • This week was a come back! The whole thing went smoothly and ended with a satisfying reward.
    .
    Just to let you know what’s in store for the future. Casting a Handel for the apron, taken apart and restoring the apron, doing the same with the gearbox, and then finishing it off with cleaning and added back all the little parts we took off.

    Tenho acompanhado o excelente trabalho de restauração que vocês estão fazendo.
    Comprei um torno "Seneca de 1910"( no Brasil),estou tentando montá-lo com ajuda desses vídeos.

    Snag some CLP next time, use that while using the scotchbrite or steel wool to clean the parts.

      Using something like that is a good idea but we thought we would get everything functioning before going in too deep then when we get ready for paint go all out.
      CLP is a lubricant as-well right?

      Correct, cleaner/lubricant/rust inhibitor, it’s like the mayonnaise of cleaners, next to simple green or brake cleaner
