Sign of the times, perhaps as something reliable for the bewildered audience (me included) not YET in sync with the new casting/ storytelling agenda? It's twister season every year, after all... [The following is my opinion. I am old enough to have seen the 1960s originals of which the first remakes/ sequels/ prequels (albeit I would find Quiet Place interesting - but would not watch it due to cat concerns like the other commenters from above :-) ) were made in the 1980/ 90s - thank you, Hollywood, for driving home this fact. Maybe movie theaters can save their venues in the future with triple feature events where the originals and remakes are shown in sequence. Granted, for this a very masochistic audience has to be willing to attend the shows, so my wild idea is already done and dusted. I for one am thankful for the exposition in the trailers - given the current ticket prices it would be a shame to realise that you made an expensive mistake only when the lights go out and the commercials begin to roll. Again, this is only my opinion. I have to admit that I did and do not like going to cinemas in the first place, but I understand that the situation is difficult for the owners, who have to bear the brunt of the decline of good movie making. My heart goes out to them.]
@jarnellbentley6438 I did kinda like the second one, but Reynolds gives the same performance in everything he does. Also, it's a super hero movie and isn't the entire world on super hero movie burnout? And no, I don't really care about Wolverine returning.
Nothing can touch the original Roadhouse. Good movie and liked the music. I even bought the CD. I usually don't do that. I'll watch the new one, because I love movies. 🤩
I have to say aside from Deadpool it mostly feels like nothing original is coming. It would be exciting to have something completely different & unseen than before.
I might ask, what about the new Deadpool is original? Isn’t Wolverine supposed to be dead? Why are they throwing marvel characters in there (I saw captain America appear on a screen in one of the scenes rather noticeably)? I honestly don’t see originality.
no Deadpool is garbage. You have to be a goober to appreciate it. It's like watching one of your favorite music videos featuring Weird Al Yankovic. Comedy and constant innuendos don't fit in the MCU. Honestly, they should have let Thanos destroy all life and ended it there.
Anything will do. Anything will be better than any of these movies. Hell, pick something at random from your cupboard and read the ingredients and you'll be more entertained.

And it looks like that arrogant asshole is the "hero?"
they remade Road House......
@@ianscott9396 I never was a fan of the original Road House but in general I kinda think there is a better chance to get something interesting from the remake. Twister I loved it as a kid but It was a bockbuster mainly because it special effects that at the time were a really new and shocking thing. Also it had a surprisingly good cast of actors who did a very decent job...But it had a almost non existent story.
The new one has lost the novelty of the effects (its main asset) and the actors look... Nothing polite to say here 😂.
But ey maybe the new script is solid gold.
Honestly!
Desperate tmes man 😂
Road House... I think I saw the whole movie in that trailer.
I hate when trailers do that. Still will watch it though
I saw it 30 yrs ago, with Patrick Swayze. Hollywood is really devoid of ideas when they are doing remakes that people alive have already seen in their lifetime.
It is a remake 😂😊
@@shelli-ann9369 Unfortunately, this is the fault of us watchers. This has been extensively tested; audiences don't handle it well when trailers don't tell them exactly what they're in for, even how the plot will go. Sad truth.
A movie that cried out for a remake.🙄
I saw all of these when they came out the first time.
This looks perfect
Beginning - Godzilla x Kong
3:06 Damsel
5:54 Deadpool 3
8:20 Wicked
9:21 Road house
11:54 Monkey Man
15:10 Challenges
17:23 Kingdom of the Planet of Apes
19:53 A Quiet Place Day One
21:30 Despicable Me 4
23:54 TWISTERS
Thanks for the list, saved me 25 minutes of my time... :)
A true MVP you are
Aint watching roadhouse too much thinking of Patrick Swayze Dalton 2 much 😢😢
The last thing I think of while watching that trailer is Patrick Swayze.
It just keeps getting better❤. Looking forward to what 2025 holds 😁😁
Look GOOD!!
These Kong Godzilla movies are getting even more ridiculous.
atleast they are not remakes... I mean really road house.....seriously....somebody needs to be slapped for starting the remake factory back up....
Agreed.
ridiculous .... lol .... like a giant ape fighting a giant dragon who breath's fire, crushing buildings and squashing people ....lol you mean that kind of ridiculous ahahahah
Looks like Godzillla & Kong
vs evil Transformers 😂
Still other than Minions 4 the only one I might watch. Boy does Hollywood suck right now. It has been bad for years but this is atrocious.
Wasn't ever expecting a sequel to Twister, remember watching it with my dad often
They thought they were safe after Twister 1…
But this summer…
The twister is back!
And it’s fast, furious, out for revenge… determined to get the people it missed in Twister 1.
Starring… Arnold Schwarzenegger, Keanu Reeves, Sandra Bullock and Michael Cera…
“GET DAUUUNNNN!!!”
not a sequel, but a remake. Even the trailer had 1:1 same scenes.
It's not a sequel. The writer is Michael Crichton, who's been dead for years. They're just rehashing the original, but with prettier actors. I think we can safely save ourselves some money by just rewatching the original.
@@Beery1962 Yeah that's fair
This comment section is hilarious lmao
You've got a hundred NPC's crying about all the trailers being "remakes" even though the majority are *_sequels..._* and then I *finally* see a comment with someone "correctly" using the word "sequel" and it turns out to be in reference to one of the *only movies* that is _actually a remake_ 🤦
great, all plot in a trailer, economically
Can"t wait for this..
I felt like the original Twister was just a big commercial for the Dodge Ram truck.
There will never be another Twister
Sadly this looks like a remake vs a sequel which is what i think most of us fans wanted, i mean might still be fun to watch but it probably wont live up to our expectations nor our nostalgia.
honestly? i need neither a sequel nor a crappy remake. the original is a masterpiece that can stand on its own.@@jjjacer
Twister was a great movie back in the day. I remember when it released.
Looks like this one is gonna be a big commercial for Toyota
Hollywood is so creatively bankrupt. There are a TON of great sci-fi novels that could be made into movies, but Hollywood is so terrified of not using existing IP that almost everything is recycled trash. The only one I have any interest in is Deadpool.
Because they have no more writers, only politicians.. but yet they still can’t make a copy that’s actually good
And Godzilla looks good too 😊
@@monki3897 Just NO.
@@johnmaxwell1356 why not
@@demdy6193
Don’t know what the fuck you’re going on about.
It’s already been said that Hugh Jackman is reprising his role as wolverine.
Also, of all the Disney and Marvel properties tell me how many of them use “they/them” characters. I’m waiting.
This looks EPIC
Twister looks pretty good with all the latest technology/CGI 😊
Can't wait to see these movies on Pitch meeting!
same here
The pitch for Twisters: "We remake Twister, but the cast are all in high school!"
Ryan will have plenty of content with these 2024 "blockbusters".
Ripping these movies to shreds will be super easy, barely an inconvenience.
😂 Was Damsel directed by her as well? Wow. She turned into Lara Croft in just a couple of scenes!
Great movies, full of tension, I'm looking forward to it
Damsel was better than expected!
I'm interested in Damsel, but the trailer literally told me everything
yeah i was wondering about that too . trailer make the movie look good but did it give too much away.
Well, it's selling female empowerment, so the target audience has to know she succeeds. Because that's guaranteed!
The release day says everything - cut your hair, save the day! Feminism rules! :D YOUR STORY IS OVER!!! :D
I get an Alice In Wonderland vibe.
Right? Seems like the new classic Disney should've shot for instead of bastardizing the Snow White story but Netflix did their thing and told the entire story in the trailer.
Am I the only one who wants to know what Kong and Godzilla are afraid of LOL
I swear I thought that was a transformer/kong/zilla hybrid.
Their afraid of the oldest titan, Shimo. We dont know much abt them, but it seems she will be extremely powerful if shes able to scare even the king of monsters, the one who didnt cower when fighting monster zero.
@@Will-Bettelheim Thank you for this info!!
@@kuro.hitsuji Np, if there is any other kaiju or godzilla related topic questions you have, im the guy to ask!
Thanks for the warning.
I watched Damsel the other day with my daughter and can only recommend this one. Highly entertaining and well done.
summary of movie: "I'm strong because im a woman"
@@lilnicky131 and that - boys and girls - happens, when you watch a moview with a precoceived notion. If that guy actually watched the movie. But that's alright. Sometimes you miss parts, if you JUST watch the trailer or you just have it running while doing something else. Maybe if one watches it again, one gets the story.
watched damsel today. it's not a masterpiece but still a good movie worth the time.
Its got plenty of plot armor.
🤣 they're trying so hard to make female victim just because she's a woman work and they just keep losing billions upon billions as it gets rated into the dirt.
I'm looking forward to this movie A Quiet Place Day One
هل نزل هذا الفلم جزء الثالث
Same!
The comment section is more interesting than the trailers.
True
I got to admit.. This is some good video editing, and congrats to the people that created these. However, these are preexisting movie clips that have been edited and spliced together with some special effects. Good job, everyone.
The title of the video should be 'blockbusters of the year'
Now Godzilla got LED eyes 😂
Shitty for traffic coming in the other direction 😢
@@renetreur4607 😂
And Kong has an Infinity Gauntlet without the stones.
The next Kong movie will have him in an entire Armoured Suit. 😂
@@DarrenC81Iron(y) Ape?
I remember the time when every other week an amazing movie was coming out....What is this? THIS CAN'T BE ALL???
You're not wrong. In the 90s basically every year there were huge bangers that turned into classics. 1996 alone had Independence Day, Twister, Mission Impossible, The Rock, Space Jam, 12 Monkeys, Jumanji, Toy Story, Heat, and From Dusk Till Dawn. There's a ton of others from that year too. From Dusk Till Dawn was 78th on the box office list to give you an idea lol.
It was called The 1980's.
...oh, and the 90's had some.
Agree! Jurassic Park and the three Indiana Jones movies, Ghost, True lies, Terminators, Aliens and so on!! Great writers and producers who did not listen WOKE activists.
@@petrbutkarev4548 Tbf that whole movement wasn't really a thing back then. And idk if it's fully true... I mean, Terminator and Aliens had your stereotypical "strong woman" characters. Only difference is that they were placed into really good films and that wasn't the entire focus.
Damsel looks damn good! 🎉
These movies look pretty cool
Wow they are remaking Twister too? I guess Hollywood cant think of new stuff...
So u don’t want anything remade? If I’d give examples you’d agree those remakes shouldn’t have been made?
@@Jamie2- maybe 1 in every 79 remakes is actually good, and that is a massive MAYBE
How did you get remake out of that trailer?
@@zacharyvorwerck4959 they use the same device as in the original, even the same name, Dorothy
A Quiet Place Day One is the only one that I'm looking forward to.
Same. It looks so good
And Despicable Me! :D
How can you not be looking forward to Deadpool 3?
@emils2000 it's a kid's movie. I'm not a kid.
@jarnellbentley6438 I did kinda like the second one, but Reynolds gives the same performance in everything he does. Also, it's a super hero movie and isn't the entire world on super hero movie burnout? And no, I don't really care about Wolverine returning.
Wow. Those are pretty good.
I think I'll buy a fishing boat.
Wow Woketopia Central all of them. They'll stuff Deadpool too.

Deadpool's garbage.
@@russellmarsden6316 You sound like youre pissed you cant watch it because youre 11 years old so are critisizing it cos you can't have it.
I might ask, what about the new Deadpool is original? Isn’t Wolverine supposed to be dead? Why are they throwing marvel characters in there (I saw captain America appear on a screen in one of the scenes rather noticeably)? I honestly don’t see originality.
@@russellmarsden6316far from garbage
no Deadpool is garbage. You have to be a goober to appreciate it. It's like watching one of your favorite music videos featuring Weird Al Yankovic. Comedy and constant innuendos don't fit in the MCU. Honestly, they should have let Thanos destroy all life and ended it there.
I wonder when the welcome to Derry trailer is coming out because that’s supposed to be out soon I believe
