I love seeing that pros also do their share of micro scrapping. ❤ that and then I get a good chuckle every time you say the word "nuggets"; might turn it into a drinking game!!😂😂❤
My typical day ends with putting one of your videos on, grabbing a beer and a bowl full of chips and dip and winding down in the recliner while watching you and Steve work and do what you do. It's why I like the longer (over 1 hr) videos like this. Peace and respect from your friendly neighborhood liberal.
I bought a small kit of drivers somewhere and it has the ones you need for those screws. Their two pronged. Haven’t had to use them yet but I know where they are 😂. 👍
That giant pile of scrap (THOSE giant piles of scrap) Sure do look intimidating. Watching you just grind thru it is fun. They get smaller and smaller, then BAM! they turn into money ! great magic trick.
Great video man. Enjoyed the micro scrapping. Nice payout. Did you read my attached word doc I emailed you? It has the give-a-way information in it. When you're ready, just give me a call and we can talk about it.
You need a clip on mic to go with your GoPro . As where you move the sound go quiet then normal. Just look at some videos. Just helping or suggestion. But you can give me a shout out to say mine your own Daz 🤣😂🤣
FYI Those lights they didn’t like the color to, you could have sold them for easy $5 each all in a bundle. Retrofit can lights to led. Some are $20/30 new
Ceiling fan motors are one of my favorite things to scrap. Do you ever think to strip the romex to get the better price? What really sucks is the stuff you get bare bright, my tsrd would give #1. Its EMR but we tend to get shitty prices in my area.
Never seen spanner screws, definitely a medical device, they wanted to write off a 300$ bit just to swap a capacitor 🤣 You could probably grind out some web from a flathead, seeing this Ima make one for my sets in case I ever run into this, scope the standard sizes online somewhere.
You keep mentioning those "Special Screws". There is a common bit available for that, but you can make one yourself. Just take a flat blade screwdriver and cut out a notch in the end where two nubs stick out. If you get the spacing correct, you can remove those screws with ease.
Have you ever heard or seen a wire stripping/chopper machine called NiTech CableX ?? It is used for solid strand copper wire, looks like the ideal machine for processing solid strand wire, LMK, I want to purchase one, I tried to contact the manufacturer but never heard back, Richard Scott Huffman, Reliable Recycling Inc, Cedar Rapids, Iowa 52404
Silver goes for about $29 -$30 per troy ounce. You could save those silver contacts in a can somewhere on a shelf until you have enough of them, and then make a video of you recovering the silver from them. You just clamp them into your vise and heat the back of the copper arm with a torch until the silver contact slides off. It doesn't take that many contacts to make an ounce, and if the contacts are large enough, you can make some gas money. Tossing them into the #2 bucket makes me sad.
hay...nicce, video!! .dont put all this siver contact in the nr2 copper! save them... in germany they buy them for 10 Dollar per pound, ca... and silver will rise verry much, the next years.....make a bucket, an d in a few years you have the worth of a Car, under your tabel...... i recycele them in germany, and they ar 10-15 % pure Silver per waight...
Irony aluminum is 70% aluminum by spec. Please don't send that stuff as irony aluminum! Just causing somebody else down the line a headache for a couple extra bucks... Can screw up a bailer too..
Micro scrapping are the best video's in my opinion. Thanks for sharing..
Thanks, I have more coming.

Thanks for sharing your mircroscrapping, it has helped me understand different techniques used outside of the limited imagination around here.
Thanks glad the videos help.

I'm really excited about the lathe
A lot of those led recessed lights have adjustable colors lol...
Awesome video thanks
Thanks! I think they were adjustable they were new in the box. lol
I’ve run into those also. They’re a pain to get apart. 👍 I took a wire wheel to it and it looked copper???
Thanks for the info.
Sound is all over the place
I had tape over the mic, I thing I fixed the issue.
Hello from france there !
Nice vid !
Your lathe broken component is only a light as for what i can see, you can easily replace it with a led.
Thanks for the info

Nice, I think I have some somewhere but I have no idea where. lol
ewww, I'm here early. Good day ya'll.
Give Steve a raise!
Thanks, He makes out ok and he does lots of side jobs in my shop.

I wish I could just wave my hand and make the scrap turn to cash. lol
Great vid! Lill bit of everthing. Can I ask what type of blade you were using in the skill saw? Never seen ladders processed that quickly!
Thanks, It was just a carbide wood cutting blade.
Something I don’t think I’ve ever heard you talk about. Steve? Is he like a business partner or just a best friend that helps you a lot?
He is just a friend that helps and I let use the shop for his side jobs

Thanks! I did see it and when I get my merch I will do the giveaway. Maybe 1-2 weeks.
Sounds good. Def need to talk, I have some other business going on and will let you know about it in our call.

Thanks for the tip, I had a pice of tape covering the mic.

Alkaline batteries are supposed to go to City EcoStation here in Edmonton, Canada. Vapes have batteries too, but they usually end up in garbage.
No one will buy them and same here people just toss them.
I never think of using my metal blade I use for metal studs for aluminum
Just be careful
Great video I was wondering if you remember what kind of blade you used to cut the ladders up with
It was just a regular carbide wood cutting blade.

That sucks, I usually don't get that much so I just through it in the #1 insulated

I've seen them but not sure if it would be good for scrapping it seems to be for solid wire only. you would want to be able to strip anything.
They take batteries for a better price than sheetmetal
I don't think they take them around here

I have a bunch I already saved and I have some massive breakers up to 1200 amps I will be recovering the silver from.
@@ProjectShopFlplease do a video on this soon 🙏
I think its time for a new camera, the audio is super messed up, makes it really hard to watch
I think I has tape over the mic.

Log the vids as always. But must say: Audio has been horrible in the latest vids 😮
I had a pice of tape over the mic. lol
Hey there. Love the video. But the sound is not too good! Sorry, i guees you know it, just wanna tell! Keep scrapping! Thanks
Thanks, I know about the sound I think I was covering the mic with tape.

Thanks I probably will I just have been trying to stay dewy from grinding the copper.
Get that air vent away from the wall. 👍
