weird that you put logano in 7th for the wreck that mcdowell caused. he basically vickers brad but from behind instead of the hook and everyone calls him a legit 500 winner. like i said, weird.
I will say one wreck that i thought would top hermitic was the Nationwide series wreck where a White 92 car gets pushed up into the fence but no worries
I clicked on this video thinking it was just gonna be a normal compilation and was met with one of the best edited NASCAR videos I’ve ever seen This is in my book one of the top 50 best videos on TH-cam. Amazing.
The audio mixing is a little off, and I was jumpscared by the music a few times. This is something I normally wouldn’t mention, but given that EVERY SINGLE OTHER aspect of this video is 10/10 stellar, I had to mention it. I want to make sure that all of your future videos I’ll see are not just almost perfect, but true perfection. Excellent work :)
@@mapleboy0001 Something you could do, is while your editing, is look at the volume of the audio tracks, if the software you're using shows that, That way you can also get an idea about how loud or quite everything is
If I had a nickel for every time an awful block from a JGR car at a Florida track leads to them getting rear ended by Kasey Kahne, I’d have 2 nickels Which isn’t much but it’s very weird it happened twice
I love the Jon Bois inspiration here, but what I ALSO love is the comfort in still being yourself in spite of the heavy inspiration this feels like YOUR video, and damn i was hooked! good stuff man, subbed ✌️
surprised to only see two blocks against Keselowski on here, the cup racer’s creed since 2009 has been “better to go out in a blaze of glory than let Brad take the checkers at a superspeedway”
When I clicked on this video, I expected a top 10 countdown list, but I absolutely DID NOT expect all the work that you put in to this. Your channel is lightning in the bottle.
This is such a fantastic video. There's not many NASCAR channels out there that have this sort of production value. Please, for the love of all that is holy, do NASCAR video essays. I just know they'd be fantastic.
24 minutes in I realized I was watching this on youtube instead of network tv, so I had to pause the video to like, subscribe and write this comment to help you out. Phenomenal job across the board on this production. Keep up the great work! Cant wait to watch you in the future, now im heading back to watch the end.
Genuinely one of the best NASCAR videos I have ever watched, if not one of the best TH-cam videos I've ever watched. Interesting and unique premise, explained thoroughly and easy to understand, great editing, and entertaining throughout. Less than 1000 subscribers but I hope you break 10k before the year is out. Please make more videos, the NASCAR TH-cam community is in dire need for more high quality content like this!
This is... You worked on this. Wow you're going to get a lot of subscribers real fast, and you deserve it, looking forward to watching this channel grow, what a TH-cam video
Awesome video. Was not expecting that when I clicked on the video. Thought it would be another generic nascar top 10 list video that other people put up.
This puts BFM and The Iceberg to shame! Bravo. Awesome video, and great editing. Like others have most likely said, the music can be a little loud at times, and when it’s mixed with the quieter broadcast feed, it makes it a tad overwhelming. I would recommend making your voice over a little louder during parts with music and broadcast feed, but other than those slight audio mixing issues, this was fantastic!
Excellent video! An interesting premise, a clear methodology, and an entertaining result. Well worth the watchtime, and a sub well earned! Keep it up! Now for the only criticism - the Audio. The balance between the music and commentary needs some work, as there were several places where the music was jumpscare loud in comparison to the prior commentary, and a couple of places where the commentary was being drowned out. Some audio treatment of the space used to record the commentary wouldn't go amiss too, as there was some some reverberation which threatened to swamp the commentary. These are all things that are fairly easy to fix, mostly just needing some experimentation & practice, so please don't be discouraged by this critique. You've got the important stuff (the content) very, very right...
Surprised more people aren't mentioning Jon Bois, this feels very much inspired by his Chart Party and Pretty Good series. Absolutely loved it, need more motorsports content like this!
Dude what a great video. As we get more and more copied and/or churned out AI videos I thank you for putting the work in for this. Like others have said you definitely punch above your subscriber number. Please, don't give it up. My only comment towards creative is the music was sometimes a little too loud for the moment, but that wasn't bad by any real means. Fantastic work, can't wait to see the next one.
re: the music, that's what constantly adjusting my headphones' volume while editing gets me. i'm going to start running videos by my friends before uploading to prevent this in the future. thank you for watching!
@@mapleboy0001 seems like you already got the plans ready to go, maybe if you have one around, hook up a random speaker or two to see how it sounds. Similar to how producers will listen to songs on phones or in a car, but remember I said it wasn't even bad, I was just knit-picking to let you know :) Good luck on everything!
McDowell block at the 2024 Geico 500 kept Ford in a 3 month win drought across all 3 series even though he'd already won a Daytona 500 and a race in the past year
I keep coming back to Number 2 on this list for one simple reason: It demonstrates the tragedy that has resulted from the playoff format. Only 1 career win, a completely illegitimate championship (has been rendered illegitimate ever since the playoffs' implementation in 2014), and as you mention, everything to prove.
Great video. I see quite a bit of inspiration from Secret Base videos, particularly the Jon Bois ones. I half expected the Kevin Lepage merge to be number one, but I understand the exclusion as it was just a boneheaded move, but man was that number one block a stupid decision by Tony.
19:15 remember since his was the first plate race after he went into the catchfence on the final lap at Dega in the spring. I bet he just had a PTSD war flashback and said "I'm making sure there's NO WAY he comes down the track and hits me" lmao
Man, I still can’t get over that whole Carl Edwards deal, my favorite as a kid. Still pains me today, it’s just one of those things you’ll always look back on and wonder if had gone just a little different.
I know it's not a block, in fact it's practically an inverse block. But that time that Kevin Harvick took out a quarter of the field less than 12 seconds after the restart because he missed a shift and wanted to stay under yellow definitely feels like a honorable mention for the wall of no consequences.
Being a Bobby fan my whole childhood and then growing up still having love for the Red 18 with green Interstate batteries car. It doesn’t set well with me two of the top 5 we’re done in that car 😂
Absolutely fantastic video. One thing I'd love to know; does Brian Scott's block from the 2015 Firecracker 250 fit into that Top 52 list? I know you had some honorable mentions for blocks outside of the Top 10, but I'd be happy if that specific block was notable enough to make it onto that top 52.
As an Edwards fan. 2016 Homestead stings. It hurts my soul because of how great 2011 Homestead was. And honestly hes not a victim of Jimmie, hes a victim of the playoffs/Chase.
The Trevor bayne one was simply Austin hill hooking his bumper. I think it’s a 50/50 deal. Newman blocked Blaney twice successfully. Blaney just ran through him even though he claimed he at that point was trying to push Newman to the win.
LePage is a block… He was attempting to get out in front of the draft and stay ahead of them. Like all your new NASCAR fans always ask the first time they watch a plate/draft race. “Well, why doesn’t he just get in front of the cars using the air to go faster and just catch on and stay ahead of them” and yeah. That’s why. But it was a block. And by your ranking it should therefore be the perfect block as stupidity gets a 10 (should probably be a 17 out of 10) chaos gets a solid 10, and of course comeuppance… 10, his car was instantly liquified.
Good video. One thing I have to say though is the music was really loud and borderline obnoxious at some points (first really annoyed me @9:00) We will watch your career with great interest
I always thought how incredible it would it have been, if on that last block with Stewart, kenseth also got collected, and Gordon ends up winning from like 17th place 😂 him and Kyle were the only 2 to make it by
Check out the emergency update regarding John Hunter Nemechek's block at the Brickyard 400: th-cam.com/video/w36tPq-ViZs/w-d-xo.html
Interestingly, Daniel Hemric can't finish first on this list either.
Hahaha, savage

Watching that Kyle Busch block in 2009 still flabbergasts me and it's also hilarious that he tried advocating for Stewart to get penalized lol
Maturing is realizing Busch wrecked himself. Younger me (as a Stewart fan) thought Stewart was in the wrong.

Safe to say I wasn't expecting this video to be as well put together as this, it's clear how much effort you've put into this. Awesome stuff
That phantom debris caution late in the race was the last straw for Edwards imo. That block was out of frustration/rage/desperation

That Jeff bodine crash might be the worst nonfatle nascar crash in history

Great job on the video. Never realized how much Regan Smith’s move in ‘08 effected Keselowski’s move in ‘09
