3:01 that was one of the most doubtable question I had. Thank you for telling this to me and you are great at making this type of videos I really like your art style and animation its a treat to us Indian and those simple telling of the concepts have helped many and some of the students who haven't read it yet.
Hi mam! My name is rutuja I watched daily your videos I understood it very well 😀 anyone can understand this concepts your explanation is very Best than others & easyyyy💯👍
Tnq so much don't memorise. until last breath i memorise these concepts. because u teached like that way.....really fabulous .........tnqqq soooooo......much
0:57 Mam atoms of another elements do this also for example if sodium donates 1 electron then, its total electron is 10 but proton is 11 because only valence electrons take place in chemical reactions. Anyone please clear this doubt.
I think, the reason she(mam) told us is not correct......... Becoz wherever i have read this concept....... They all told me that, the donation of 4 electrons is quite difficult for carbon atom as it will take a lot of energy to donate 4 electrons........i think, this reason is quite good or believable. 🙂🙂
Its easier to remove 1 or 2 electron as compared to 4 electrons. In case of gaining electrons, holding 1 or 2 extra electrons is easier for nucleus as compared to holding 4 electrons, thats why....!
It takes a lot of energy to remove 4 electrons. And it is unstable for the proton to hold on to 10 electrons. Both ways are impossible, so carbon must share it's electrons.
Thank you so much for this amazing video . I was struggling with covalent bond but after watching this video my doubts are crystal clear about covalent bonds 😊
OK but at 3:38 why do the Oxygen atoms need a pair of electrons instead of just one electron like the previous example ? Is it simply down to odd/even numbers of electrons ?.. Oh and why at 5:00 do the Nitrogen atoms share 3 pairs ? Thank you.
Because the atoms need 8 electrons in the outermost shell to achieve stability O - 2,6 that's why it needed 2 electrons to achieve octet N - 2,5 that's why it needed 3 electrons in the outermost shell to achieve octet and stability Hope you got this

Maybe if the difference of protons and electrons are very less, they don't cause great instability..... Even I had that doubt so not very sure
yeah I am also checking comment section for same doubt
