HOW TALIBAN DESTROYED BUDDHAS OF BAMYAN?

Hello Guys,
The most important monument from Afghanistan " Buddhas of Bamyan " I think most of you guys know about the Buddhas of Bamyan if don't, basically before the Arabic invasion of Afghanistan the most dominant religion was Buddhism & it used to be cultural center of Buddhism in this region & Bamyan Buddhas were part of it. These statues were built during 6-7th century & after the Islamic Invasion these Buddhas were left out & till then a lots of Islamic rulers have tried to destroy them, but couldn't succeed. In 2001 Taliban has used its full power & they have succeeded in destroying them.
