I disagree, I'll miss the corners, I might even hold off and wait for s26u or s27u because I enjoy the squared screen so much. This is of course just a personal opinion, but I fell for the s24u at first sight. I would add the Otter Box rounds the corners a bit, but it still has that awesome sharp corner screen.
You can use Link with Windows. It provides the same as Dex. I use it and I can download pictures from my phone to my laptop with ease. Try it before switching.

This reminded me of my first and only iphone which is the iphone 4. Bought it for that metal/titanium corner design.
Hopefully the cameras are better or even at par with Oppo and vivo
