I just love seeing the babies toddling around. They are so cute. Wildy is simply beautiful and she has beautiful babies.
I was watching this in my kitchen with the windows open and Wildie was shrieking her poor head off, when two of my neighbours ran over because they thought I was being murdered. I told them not to worry it was only goat contractions. They walked off shaking their heads.

Congrats on quintuplets! Wildie started off exhausted as she was out of breath so that was amazing how you were able to step in & save all of them. I think there are so many boys from Lucky to make sure you have a perfect boy to carry on his legacy.

Congratulations Crystal that was definitely a long hard one for both of you. I’m a retired paramedic of 25 yrs and i delivered 2 babies on my own in the back of an ambulance on the interstate. It was the most stressful, worrying and exhausting experience I ever had until it was done and it then became the most exciting thing I ever experienced in my life. So I can tell that’s how you feel. I noticed you do the same thing I done. When you go in to check or help the baby you close your eyes and you like myself put all your learning a knowledge to work I would imagine the pictures in the book the practices we done on delivery. You have to focus 100% because you not only have 1 but 2 lives depending on you. The mom and the baby plus any other babies. Let me tell you once that baby comes out and takes that first breath of air and cries out your whole body almost goes limp. You are so relieved and proud of you and the mom for delivering this life. You have an unexplainable euphoric feeling just shooting through your body. Then the little life in your hands starts getting cleaned by mom and you can turn the baby over to its mom. You may even feel like you had it yourself. I’m proud of you I had seen you do anything and everything that could possible be done for both goat and mom. You’re 100% in my books girl. You have got this. Then there are the ones you can’t save and that’s a whole other story with a lot of other feelings. But today you done it. You have a lot to be proud of and i congratulations you on all your hard work. I pray the rest of kidding season goes this well. Your family really treats your goats like your family and you have your days down to a science. Your family deserves a Hugh amount of credit and the people that buy the goats from you are truly lucky and blessed to get one. Well done on such a difficult labour, I think Wilde was just so exhausted carrying those Quints, delivery was too difficult for her. She’s so lucky you were there for her Crystal because I don’t think the babies would have survived. Especially with the first one being breech blocking the way.

When I had my herd 3 years ago, my first time having kids born I had a momma with her little buckling was breeched. I knew I had to help her out because she had been pushing for at least 5 hours. It was thanks to watching Crystal that I was able to just help Hazel give birth to her little buckling.

I had a sextuplets born this year...It was crazy! They practically flew out and l had a hard time keeping up, lol! It was my last kidding with this doe(a SG Castle Rock Cleveland Sage granddaughter) and she gave me 3 very special doelings who I'm excited to get into the ring!
