It’s amazing how you seem to come up with trick after trick, all of which are interesting and innovative to the community. You are probably the best inventor of domino tricks that I’ve seen.
Thank you! There are tons of talented people on TH-cam, but they can be tucked away and hard to find. As for me specifically, I don't often post actual domino rallies, but rather original (sometimes) trick tutorials
Dude this is the by far the best and most create domino trick ever seen! And you explain it so well! I'll definitely use it! Thanks for this great tutorial!
Cool, I haven't started a new year project yet (been ill with a horrible cough/weakness on/off for 4 weeks now) but still want to if I feel better this week...maybe I'll use this technique for something.
I had one week of feeling good, and decided to skip a holiday project...then got ill again before new years, and now just sore from coughing too much. If I don't start something by tomorrow I'll probably just skip new year project.
Spent a little time playing with this technique tonight. Trying to figure out a good way to have the wall part fall. I think I'm skipping any new year video now and will focus on something else instead.
micajo domino Well, this one was inspired by the existing fallwall trick. But you know when you really, really want something? Well I'm sat here with only dominoes, right, so I end up trying to find a way like the Jurassic Park dinos.
Very interesting! I'll consider using this trick in the future. I'm also curious as to whether or not the multiple towers could be more seamlessly woven together into a wall, but I'm sure you tried a variety of methods in an attempt to do that. As it is, this trick is very innovative.
...and I continued watching and have learned not to comment too soon, as you have demonstrated an example of a more seamlessly interwoven structure, and it's beautiful
TheRGMGuy01 Hi! Thanks for the great comments! Haha, yes I have tried many structures, but only walls. The one at 20:17 is the most elegant and minimal, but is only a domino width thick making it the least stable version. You are also forced to make the picture row by row instead of column by column like in the tutorial's version. The tutorial's version is more than a domino length thick and makes it easier to correct the vertical alignment. The thin version also requires you to have the pixels placed a distance from the frame since kicking back the lying dominoes in the frame would make this even more unstable. Of course, the thin wall would take less time to build as it uses fewer dominoes, so there are many trade-offs to consider. I've actually made a larger version of this wall in an unused clip where the frame fell early. I'll show you...if I ever get a chance to make an extras reel...
Very creative new trick! My idea for that last bit would be to build TWO flawless, one acting as a frame of the other, and put a normal frame behind them. :)
Interesting, would this result in three towers per column? The triggers at the back of the tower may be difficult to remove or the pixels may be too far apart. I feel that we can work with this further...
Just to help you understand what I meant: Picture shown BEFORE topple: Picture A Picture shown AFTER topple: Picture B Picture A could be a normal fallwall, but instead of having a regular frame, Picture B could be the frame that keeps Picture A up. Picture B would have it's own, normal frame. You might want to put a glass plate in between A and B, if you don't want A to fall back and knock down B, if that idea doesn't sound too impractical :P. Hopefully this was helpful in some way :)
Apollo14 Ah, but that's just it: I'm not sure how picture B's frame can keep both pictures up. No matter where you put picture B's pixels, they would clog the mechanism and prevent the picture A's pixels from falling. Would you be able it illustrate it in any way? I'm more of a visual learner. Thanks, anyway!
Hi there! Would you be able to elaborate? Theoretically, it seems that we would only need the counterweight on the bottom yellow domino for the towers to be infinitely scale-able. The issue seems more to do with balancing the towers themselves.
FullPowerDomino Good question! No they are not flat. The tilt of the red dominos are a result of the yellow domino's face being slightly concave near the sides. The sides of the red dominoes themselves are flat, though, unless the corners are really deformed from wear. You can find a more in-depth review of bulkdominoes in my second and first Bulk Dominoes unboxing videos. Cheers!
Well, the domino fall wall 0:28-1:13 should have not worked since the dominoes put pressure on the towers, BUT there is a wall that some of the towers leaned on. if there was no surface, the towers would have fallen amazingly, BUT I guess it would be a disaster.
shurjo aunibar Pretty much, though you can make the towers fall on purpose. I wasn't too careful in keeping the towers of the dolphin wall vertical. In fact, I found that they kept leaning backwards. You can see when I tried correcting for this.
For the different picture, you could build a transparent frame and then build a picture. Then, on top of that but on the other side of the structure, you could build the other picture so that when the top side falls, the other side would remain, revealing the other picture.
Marble Volcano Hmm, I think I get what you're saying, but placing the second picture on the back of a clear structure, but would the clear dominoes still distort it a little?
The pixels are huge, and anyway you would be able to see straight through the holes in the structure. The distortion would only be on the edge of the pixels.
th-cam.com/video/JAeBuzMNoNo/w-d-xo.html This is an unlisted video I just made to show the concept. The lighting is really bad... but at least it shows what this is kind of supposed to look like.
Minh Son Chau An idea, a lot of trial and error, and optionally, a happy accident! Fall walls already exist, but they require specially built stands or a very dense domino structure. I just tried to build on this. Thanks for asking!
@@22DOMINOES22 Thank you!!😁 I learned a good trick today! Korean friends will love it! 😄 Let me show you the nickname in the description! And I also show the link!😘
But about this trick a straight domino line can fall if you topple it but about this trick two domino can fall but sometimes two of the dominos can't hit that dominos so sometimes it can't work
Step 1 is imagining something that's probably impossible. Step 2 is unrelentingly trying to make it work in your head, on paper, and in real life. The latter step is where most of my time is spent.

This makes me wanna buy better dominoes. Does it also work with lampings?
Oh and is the pixel art in the beginning a dolphin?
+Taikamuna *Ding ding ding* You've guessed it! It was supposed to be a dolphin. Congrats!

Could you make the towers higher by putting a counterweight (an other domino) on some of the yellow dominoes?
