@@willpalmeer Rule must keep in mind in india, Never pay back someone's generosity & kindness with money like u were trying offer ₹100 as gratitude/thanking for their kindness but that's come off as kind of rude & disrespectful coz it puts the other person dignity low, embarrassing situation for them, as if they can't afford earn such money themself & As if u comparing or putting their gud human quality equals with worth of any amount of money that is just a mere materialistic illusion & can't buy those human nature, true respect, humanly relations.
Instead any similar act of helping others in need will be bigger, better & actual way of thanking as In our indian dharmic culture we have philosophy to Just Keep Do our Karma & duty with righteousness towards all beings without thinking of result or reward of it/in return (as we only have the right to perform our actions, but ain't entitled to the fruits of actions. you can get a proper meal in Golden Temple as many times as you can. they serve more then 5000 meals .... i slept for free and eat there for a week. such a beautiful place
Gurudwaras and ISKCON temples are everywhere in India. They are doing great service to humankind! Even Steve Jobs said he survived some days with free food in ISKCON temples.

I returned coke bottles for the 5¢ deposits to buy food with. And I would walk the 7 miles across town every Sunday night to get one good meal a week at the Hare Krishna temple. I loved it.”
