Do you have a problem with wasps or yellow jackets infesting the holes?

Not so far. 3 years of putting out these bee homes with no problems. But good question! I suppose that could be an issue in some places. Thanks for watching.

I love this! I'm in Peralta and have been wanting to make a bee home, but did not want to buy one. This looks durable. What is the ideal length/depth of these blocks? I also like the branch idea. Do these holes drill all the way thru or just partially?

Thanks for watching. The holes are 3-4 inches deep and I usually use a 1/4" drill bit. You may have different species down in Peralta than I have here on the Abq westside, so you could experiment a bit with different sizes. For me, I find that most of my bees like the 1/4" holes the best. I didn't drill al the way through, just a few inches deep. Give it a go!
