- In this video a Golf 3 VR6 swapped with a V6 R28 engine from a Volkswagen Golf 4 with 236HP. We saw this cars on GR8-ICS 2019.
It shoot loud pops & bangs with flames.
Modifications of the car:
Front and rear struts (upper and lower front) VW Motorsport wheels in 17 inches
AP Racing handsets
2 RRS tubs
Half aluminum arch RRS steering wheel Admission carbon slugs
Sport air filter
Full tube decala line Intermediate suppression
Large injectors Petrol tap Intake Manifolds and Cylinder Head 4 V6 Butterfly Golf 5 R32

was it a mk4 12v vr6 or a 24v vr6? if it was the 12v, it's the exact same engine as the mk3 2.8 aside from having a plastic intake manifold vs an aluminum one. i have 2 of each on engine stands right now, identical. the 24v was slightly different in the head but the block is nearly the same as well.
the 12v vr6 came from the mk3

all youd need is an exhaust and an intake i have the same engine in a mk4 gti
@@pxsner got those! truth be told my corrado maybe able to do this but being that the rack and pinion is fucked up at the moment I haven't driven it far enough to know lol

It isn’t swapped some golf 3’s came with a vr6
the "r28" was a golf 3 engine. It came with this 2.8 liter vr6 from factory. The mk4 never came with a 2.8 liter vr6, only with a 3.2 liter vr6 wich is called the "R32". get your facts straight
Indeed, it's a V6 2.8 engine from a MK4 and 236 hp. The original engine of the MK3 was the VR6. Thanks for the comment, we made a mistake ;)
What about the Golf MK4 V6 2.8 4Motion..? I drove one so yeah the MK4 came with both the 2.8 VR6 24 valve 204 HP and the R32 with 241 HP.. I also have the MK3 2.8 VR6 12 valve 174 HP

@@mortenolinhansen6685 No, the mk4 never came with a 2.8 liter vr6. It came with a vr5, wich maybe could have had 2.8 liters, but im not sure about that. But im certain, that it didnt come with the 2.8 vr6.

Like i said I drove one so they do exist mate :) the VR5 came with a 2.3 150 and 170 HP
they made the 2.8 VR6 designated "V6" from 1999 - 2005
