If i wanted to write TH-cam scripts for creators, video & photographers would LinkedIn still be the best method for finding clients & posting portfolio pieces?

Hey Elna. I have been a freelance content writer for 3 years now, but I don't have a solid portfolio as none of my clients put my name up on their website for the articles I wrote.
So I'm starting from zero again. Thanks for your videos it's helping me a lot.
I have a question.... What do you think of using the free version of WordPress to host the portfolio? Does it sound unprofessional as the free version of WordPress's domian have random names and numbers

Yea, I wouldn't use the free WordPress option. Instead build on Linkedin!

I have a question, I work for a digital marketing company I write post-copies for creatives and blogs and articles for the clients websites and various other platforms the clients want their articles or blogs on. So I want to build my portfolio. The works that I have done. I created one for myself in which I have an excel sheet in which I keep all my links to the clients facebook page or website.
Now the thing I am worried about is what if 3-4 months down the line the client I have worked for shuts down their business, they shut down their website and all other pages they have my work on, I will loose everything I have worked.
So please suggest me a way I can keep all my works.
I genuinely need some help please help me.

You know I just did a live on creating a portfolio and addressed a version of this (a client removing your post from their blog). As for shutting down completely, I would wait 5 years and then use those articles as blog posts or guest posts, LinkedIn post or pitch those ideas for future clients making sure to update the information.

Hey Elna, I'm a writer desperate for work (I can do both copywriter and article writing) I've sent tens of thousands of outreach emails/dms to blogs and companies, tried to land clients on both fiverr and upwork, nothing has ever worked. I have a proposal to you, help me find my first client (copywriter or article writer doesn't matter) and I will give you 50% of the first 2 months payments.

I don't recommend Fiverr or Upwork for finding clients so perhaps find other platforms like LinkedIn to find clients!
