Heather, I must tell you that you are so inspiring. With every video you make, you make me realize that it’s ok to do things differently and to try and make life in this crazy world we are in as easy and joyful as we can. God has used you in a wonderful way. That you are so happy to be here with your precious kids, and try to bring them as much joy as possible. I think kids are awfully aware that things are not right in the world and it makes them anxious. You are showing them that you can persevere and trust in the Lord, and enjoy each day we are given by Him to the fullest. Love you, girl!
Hi heather, my mom has arthritis in her hands and I have cerebral palsy and scoliosis so her hands are used a lot during the day and night. I think I am going to try to get her some of those things for Christmas. I am still loving Barn 45 and I am very grateful to you for recommending it to us. My mom is taking me to get a new bible that is easy to hold. I know you don’t know me personally but your encouragement has changed my life in an awesome way and I will always be grateful to you forever.❤
Your tenacity to keep being the fabulous woman you are by adapting to your circumstances is awe inspiring. The Lord is using you as a great witness to others and I am grateful. Thank you for being such an inspiration to me and the world.
Loved ur pep talk! Yes, it's a season. I'm in a season of surrender too. I have had to learn to pivot the way I do things since my brain aneurysm and stroke 3 years ago. But I have learned it's ok to do things differently. I'm here and I can cook and bake for my family which is my passion. I also loved the unboxing. I may have to get the peeler for my kitchen aid lol
You are amazing. I've recently been involved in an accident that broke both wrists. Two surgeries, with multiple plates. Still have a cast as well as a splint. Things are slowly improving. I've just recently felt the desire to cook, can, bake. It's been tough, and you have been an inspiration. Thank you for being you. Blessings my friend.
My Dad is retired Navy, and there is an old Navy saying: work smarter, not harder’. That is your pivot, working smarter not harder so you can keep working. Hang in there, you are doing more than you will ever know by blessing us with your knowledge and ‘pivots’ 💗💗
My cousin just had right hand surgery for the second time, you know the main thing she was so shocked that she couldn’t do was brush her hair and put it up, so I’ve been helping her, but tomorrow when I go to change her dressings I’m going to introduce her to you💜
I love your attitude & ur word "pivot"! As someone with "challenges" i have to do normal things differently so I find the term "pivoting" fantastic! U r such an inspiration & I love u give credit where credit is due ❤ May God continue to pour blessings upon u & ur house & family!
Hi Heather, I have a different mixer than kitchenaid and I can't remember the name of it but this company makes the motors and housings for kitchenaid. This has enabled me to use the attachments that kitchenaid mixers use. It's exciting because in 2014 I crushed my hands at work and now have arthritis in both of them. I'm so happy for you ❤🎉. I try my hardest not to buy preshredded cheese. It has cellulose on it ( AKA wood pulp) which keeps it from clumping. Sometimes though I have to surrender and just get preshredded cheese. Surrender is a work in progress for me but I just keep walking hand in hand with Jesus. I love you and I love our Lord.
I am so glad you are moving forward doing what you love. You are an inspiration to us all. God bless you dear. Thank you for sharing your ideas with us, too. Have fun! You deserve it.
Good morning my beautiful sister, you are so special i adore you,you are inspiring to so many including myself,God is doing mighty things in your life,i love you! Take care, praying for you and your family Blessings to you sweetie!❤
it took me 6 years to finally accept i was partially handicapped from my accident for the rest of my life. The "accepting" is very hard esp. when you are very independent. To be able to accept to move forward...i now say..."I accept it for now" it has helped me to heal emotionally in accepting in am not the same physically anymore. Im stuborn as well... you go girl!
For everything that you’ve been through, the pain the loss, a lot of people would be curled up under the bed somewhere. You are such an inspiration to those facing tough trials in their lives. I know it’s been hard for you, but the joy and strength you show is awesome. I love your channel, I love you and wish you the best of everything. May God continue to bless you and your family.
I'm so blessed and encouraged to find your videos.A encouragement.i too had do a lot change in my life since my accident. All we can do is move forward trust God this new chapter it's been 8 yrs since my car accident.Actally saw a angel.I needed this tonight.God with you and your family.look forward to the prayer circle.God bless.Thank you for sharing this journey. We are made stronger not a quicker.Have a bless weekend.🙏🙏🙏💐💐💐💐🤗🤗🤗🤗💐🙏🙏🙏
You are a strong and sweet lady and I am sure that you will be back to baking and doing the things you love real soon. Like you said your body’s got to heal but your videos are lovely and I enjoy hearing what you have to say because you are close to the Lord. I am too., we all have things to deal with. I am rooting you on, and you’re always a pleasure to watch.❤🙏🏻 God bless
Amen! Consider it all joy.....the suffering brings us closer to Jesus.....and it means he trusts us with the pain.....that we aren't going to turn bitter but better!
Glad to see you so joyful! You deserve it for all you do! What a Blessing to be back in the heart of your home ready to shine! I need to learn to can--so hopefully I will. I have a pressure cooker and I guess you can use that! ❤😊❤
It was lovely to see a video from you today. Much needed kick of joy. Very heart-warming and soul lifting. ❤ Taking notes of all your lovely new kitchen toys. Zucchini noodles - zoodles- are my favourite Go out and use utensils etc to make you life easier and enjoyable. You are very right with pivoting. pivoting is very much ok. it is being kind to yourself and allowing herself to give back to yourself that have needed to be put on hold. Surrendering is empowering ❤🙏 Much love to you and again Thank you! for making me smile and feel joy. Thank you for sharing what brings you joy and your journey.
My pivot point with bread making was getting a Bosch Nutrimill Universal Mixer. It was a total game changer for me and my sweet husband is thrilled to have my homemade bread and cookies again! It's a bit pricey so put it on your list for Black Friday.
I love your message. I'm trying to put in 2 new raised garden beds. Oh my gosh, I takes a toll on me. I work a day, take a day off to rest my body and then work at it the next day. I'm trying to learn to have grace with myself. I'll now try pivoting. ❤😊
You have me thinking about things in my kitchen. I ask myself every autumn what new gadget would make my winter cooking easier and last year I didn't act on it. I must this year and you have got me intrigued by gadgets that speed up the prep. Thanks so much!!! I'd also really like a food sealer for the storage end of things.
Heather after my accident I was having lots of cramping in my legs. After talking with a friend her doctor suggested she use Tonic water. I found it flavored with Lime as well as a diet one. I drink 4 to 6 ounces a night. What a blessing, the cramping is gone. I'm serious, it works. Give it a try if you like. Thanks for sharing your unboxing.
ooooo tonic water???? I buy magnesium spray, I heard that helps, my doctor told me just don't over use it. haha thats impossible! hahaha I gotta can and bake bread, right? hahaha
Heather. You might want to check about that disability. There is nothing wrong with getting that check hon. If it is yours to have than you deserve it. That’s what it’s meant for. So many people take advantage of the system and my dear YOU have not. We have followed you from the beginning. You never know if and when they take that away from people like they always threatened to take our social security checks. We love you Heather. 🥰🥰🥰🥰
You are the voice of God himself! My hands are bad too so converting my kitchen tools to be more user friendly is huge in continuing my love of cooking and baking! I so needed this video right now!
I'm so happy to hear you say you have your groove back ! you have been through so much and to hear and seeing you move forward is so heart warming🙏💕 I to have problems with my hands , so anything you can find to help make it easier by all means do it. I find the hardest is to unscrew jars ! ouch !! TC sweet lady💕
Heather you continue to inspire me each and everyday. You have been a constant reminder to me that ‘’ If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it. Thank you for all you do! ☮️💟 Nana
I too have a KitchenAid and I got the Meat Grinder attachment. Love it. Yes, it is ok to pivot to make it easier. Love your videos. You have come a long way. Smile, God has a plan for you. Bless you!
Thank you for sharing your journey with us. You are truly inspiring. I'm also in a season of change. I have had to learn to do things differently, but I'm still doing it. I have CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome) and it has changed my world. But I won't let it win. You are so inspiring to me! You have been encouraging beyond measure. Thank you SO much for sharing with us! I am sincerely grateful for you. God Bless 🙌
Heather, thank you for this video💜! I’m with you, I love unboxing videos! I’m also in the beginnings of a huge pivoting season…I’m also very stubborn😘. So, you can see, you and I are so much alike in so many ways😉! Thank you so much for your sweet and encouraging videos💜.
I just love my immersion blender! I use it all the time! It saves these old arms and hands from getting tired out before my cooking is done! Great tool for you!
You are an inspiration! My stick blender was purchased in the late eighties and is works beautifully. It is a Braun brand. They don’t make things to last these days!
Dub Wendy the new virgin canning Queen 👑!!! Go Wendy! Go Wendy!! I bet you guys had a blast and lots of laughs!! 🎉 God bless you both, Wendy for trying something new and Heather for showing her how to get it done!! Beautiful ladies!!
Heather, you are an inspiration to me and others. God bless you and your family. I love watching your videos and have learned so much from you. Thank you ❤❤❤
I’m so happy for you, Heather, for your new kitchen things!! 😊 Your excitement is so apparent. ❤ It’ll be fun to watch you use them. I have a KA mixer (which I bought for my mom, then inherited later) & some attachments, including the shredders. I have the pizza cutter & LOVE it. Best one I’ve ever had. I do also have one of those huge, rocking pizza knives like pizzerias have, but I find myself using the KA cutter instead. LOL By the way, I have a Zojirushi bread machine & love it tremendously. While I am physically able to make bread, I stink at it. Been using bread machines for years, with great success. If you pivot again, using a machine for your breads is also okiedokie! God Bless, take care, & have a super day!
Amazing Haul sweet momma, you will be a big help to your friend, you have been a big help to me through the years, you taught me to bake bread and can without fear I would kill my family, I love you so much and I'm so happy you are able to get back in your kitchen. Big Hugs and Much Love from NC 🙏❤️😘🥰😍😊
I got the slicer/ shredder for Christmas last year. I love it and cleans up like a dream. I also have the hand blended. Got it for my birthday in 2022. I asked for the meat grinder for this Christmas
Awesome! Great brand too!! Nice to see you again in the kitchen!! Big hugs coz I'm in SAME season as you. I'm stubborn as hell...too! ThankQ so much for opening up. The penny just dropped as you shared. I so appreciate YOU!! I dont feel so alone!!! ⚘
Enjoy your lessons with your friend. Thanks for all your wonderful videos!! So glad you're recovering well. God bless. I learned to can from my grandma 62 years ago. I've done 487 jars this year since January 6th th. God bless🥰🥰🙏🙏
Nice stuff you bought. Thought of you tonight Heather, my wife and son got home yesterday from Minot AFB so we all went to Pizza Hut including the grandson tonight, very enjoyable evening. Hope things are well with you neighbor.
Heather, there's other reasons besides the cost savings of shredding cheese yourself. During the process in manufacturing facilities, they toss the preshredded cheeses in a type of starch. This starch is used to help keep the shreds of cheese from sticking/clumping together in the packaging. That starch type coating also keeps your cheese from melting as well as it should. Anytime you want your cheese to melt and blend well in recipes and sauces, you really should shredding the cheese yourself. And if you are melting cheese for a dip for like bread sticks or chips, use about 1/4 teaspoon of food grade sodium citrate. If you warm some milk to near boiling and add the sodium citrate and stir for 10 to 20 seconds, reduce the heat so it doesn't scald the milk then slowly add /wisk in the cheese until nice and smooth it's perfect for dipping homemade bread sticks or pretzels. It keeps the cheese from being grainy in your dip/sauce. You can also use broth, beer or other liquid instead of milk. I will use about 1/2 cup of chicken broth or beer to mix the citrate (because milk scalds gets a skin) then once I've blended in the citrate, I will add milk that I have tempered. Then blend in the cheese. The dip/sauce turns out so so good. And of course, you can add jalapeños and/or spices. Just tailor to your family's preferences.
You finally got a spiralizer! You'll love it, makes apple processing so much easier. And the kids will love the potato bird's nests you can make. Have you fired it up yet?
Heather You Do Have Your Groove Back ...I'm So Happy to See You Showing Some of the things had have Helped You make Life Easier. YOU AREA GREAT INSPIRATION. God Bless You & Keep On Going LADY!!YOUR LOVE IS SHINING THROUGH
Hi Heather! I absolutely love you! You’ve been in my prayers since the beginning and I will continue to pray for you and over you, sis! THANK YOU for talking about pivoting. As humans, we tend to get stuck not only in our ways, but most importantly, in our thinking as well. I often find myself laughing at my own stubbornness (or stinkin’ thinkin’) about not being willing to change. But, like you, my body is no longer willing to do the things I’d like for it to do - so finding tools to make things not only possible, but easier is very important. As with anything, it can be hard to change. However, I focus on the new benefits. Think about the women who have been challenged in the past with change. We used to do laundry much differently - down by the stream in a wash bucket. Now, we toss our clothing, linens and towels into a machine and it does the work for us. NO WAY would I want to go back to the old washboard and wringing machine. Mixing everything by hand has thankfully been replaced by our amazing KitchenAide mixers. These ‘upgrades’ have been BLESSINGS. When I saw your post about the peeler attachment during the Prime sale, I jumped on it right away. Now I just need to get the courage to start using it! 😂 Ohhhhhh and I already had the olive oil squeeze dispenser and I absolutely love it. And you’re spot on with not touching anything with the spreading fingers other than a clean pan. One tip: if you’d like to have some oil directly on a food product, taking just a very little bit of oil up into the squeezy part, let’s you squeeze it repeatedly and quickly - this kind of acts like a sprayer (maybe more like a mister). Also, if I need to add a bit more oil to a pan that already has food in it, I just hold it above the food in the pan and squeeze lightly - I love having control of adding oil drop by drop. SO much easier and neater than with the typical oil carafe decanter with that silly spout stopper that leaks! I would end up with olive oil everywhere except where I wanted it! Good grief! Ha! All of this to say - PLEASE keep these great tools, ideas and solutions coming! Anything that you find and use to make things easier is a huge win. It’s giving someone’s freedom and ability back to them. It could mean the difference between be able to do (and enjoy) a task or project once again. That ability being returned and reignited could mean EVERYTHING to them. Thank you, Heather, for being willing to talk about the different seasons that you are experiencing. Not only are you normalizing it, you’re also showing us that it is okay to celebrate seasons of change. Keep going. Keep healing. Keep thriving. Keep praising God. He’s with us every step of the way. Continuing to keep you in my prayers, sis! Much love!!
Much Love❤ Blessings from California 😊 God doesn’t waste anything. He is using you mightily as I read all the comments. He is an Awesome God. I know Your precious Husband is cheering You on and saying, Good job Heather, good job❤
I know it might be a price tag but maybe look into the ankrasum mixer. They are great for bread and kneading it. Love KitchenAid but for bread the ankrasum is better and it good for mixing too. I still have the KitchenAid also and have attachments to it.
I have a friend, Angie from Anie's Pantry her eon TH-cam that owns one.....and she said the same thing! I will have to look into it. thank you so much!
Doesn't kitchenaide made a peeler attachment? Might be worth checking! Apple pie filling???? Great to see you and think about future bread. Love ya. Onward and upward!
12:25 I have two of these and love them. Couple things though, you have to push kind of hard to get things like carrots to shred nicely and I worry I’m going to break the part where the attachment goes to the mixer. The pusher is not flat on the bottom so it rolls off the counter very easy. I’ve broken both of mine and have to use an old pill bottle to push my food because they don’t sell a replacement. You’re going to love the peeler/slicer! I use mine all the time for apple pie filling and slicing apples for the freeze dryer!
Glad to see you back doing what you love in the kitchen, I love my kitchen aide attachments, I’ve got all the pasta ones brand new a few years ago but haven’t used , I just seen the snow cone maker attachment in target for around $80, I just shredded 6 32 ounce bricks of cheese , took my about 20 mins, enjoy you’re new toys, can’t wait to see what you come up w, I’m 63 and I’m paying the price of baking for over 30 , so I can understand to some point how you feel, and I know it’s hard w all you’re injureies, one day at a time I say❤❤
I found a pizza cutter I swear by ! It’s like the steel cutters/ scrapers but long so you just press down and it goes across the pizza ! No wheel !!! That could be easy on your hands 💕
I also struggling with my hand bc I was hit by a drunk driver. Not once but twice. The 1st one I was pregnant with my son and the second not so bad but exasperated my injuries to the point it is interfering with my passion to cook. I am currently on disability bc I can nolonger type or even write like I need to. It's really hard to find a job that you do not have to use your hand. I love you for sharing that it is ok to surrender to thing that will help keep the dream and desire alive.
Yes! I LOVED your unboxing video! How fun!! Such wonderful, helpful items you have there. You are SO sweet Heather. I just adore you and your company. :)
Your a blessing that it's ok to do things differently I broke my femur and a year later had a knee replacement same leg so I have to pivot at times thanks for helping us Loved the unboxing tfs God bless
I needed to hear this today. I have carpal tunnel and so many things I can't do anymore, but like you said it's OK to get some help with it. I have the shredder slicer and love it. I need to look into the spiraling. I want to get the food processor attachment with the dicer. It is so hard during canning to dice up all the vegetables for recipes. The shredder that I got shreds cheese so good, and I put my frozen butter for biscuts through it too. Works amazing. Great items you got to help you. God bless and prayers always . Have a blessed day.
Heather, following BexarPrepper, and all the others is how I found you! I did share vids also, hopefully I will again in the next few years. Thank you for all you do. I am proud of your journey thus far❤
GOD bless you. You are such an inspiration and example. I pray HE blesses you richly for the encouragement you give others. I would like to see you peel the apples with your new tool. It might be a great add on to my kitchen. Thank you for being you!!
Giiiirrrrl, it’s so good to see you smiling and laughing! Love the new attachments to your Cuisinart! Enjoy yourself! Can’t wait for pizza night! PS. Heather, do you have a VitaMix with a grain grinder attachment? You can make flour and all kinds of things. It will blow your mind. ♥️🙏🏼♥️
Thank you so much!! I had no clue vitamin had a grain attachment! I have a vitamin, and I recently got the grain mill for my kitchenaid. I haven't tried it yet!
@@TheKneadyHomesteader - I didn’t know that either. I’m sure the Cuisinart will do well! The VitaMix is so powerful, and I’ve wanted to grind grain to make flour, and corn for cornmeal. I just want to see how it comes out. Take care, Heather!
Hey, I had to share the worst thing about my story is recently I finally bought a house where I can grow my own veggies and things so now I really want to get Into canning and looking at the different canners I really want an All American but their so expensive but it hit me when I was a small kid playing with my gma's pots and pans she had an all american canner because there's nothing else that looks like it with those latches and jiggler I use to play with. If I could have only been able to keep her's somehow. Lol thank you for sharing your knowledge I hope to learn a lot from your videos and some others on here be blessed

God Bless 🙌
I am grateful for you too Sheltie! thanks for hangin out with me tonight.....I am going to add you to my prayer list! xoxoxo
Great tool for you!
they are just so much fun to use! hahaha
Thank you for your words of encouragement, they were so needed today. Happy to see you getting stronger everyday, missed you !
God bless you Linda. sending you so much love!
Amen sister! I have Cerebral Palsy I am always pivoting every day!
Heather, you are an inspiration to me and others. God bless you and your family. I love watching your videos and have learned so much from you. Thank you ❤❤❤
Good for you!!!!! Glad you caught the sales💖💖
Thank you!! My wallet thanks me too😂😂😂😂😂😂
SO Happy that Stella & Heather has her Groove back!!! Hooray!!!!
HAHAHAHA now I want to watch that movie again!
Heather, what an inspiration you were then and now even more 🥰 missed you and welcome back ❤
Wow, thank you for these ideas! With my arthritic hands I can’t turn my salt and pepper grinder anymore. So many of these would make life easier!❤️
I got the pepper and salt grinders that she is showing as I have arthritic hands, and these are amazing.
Where did you buy them from?
Sweet girl, I’m glad you got your groove back!! And yes, I remember those ladies-they taught me so much! And so have you!! Love you, Heather!!
Love you too, Donna!!!!! xoxox
You my dear Heather are a queen! A queen of what you decide! Love you so much!❤
Wow, thank you! Love you too!
Amazing Haul sweet momma, you will be a big help to your friend, you have been a big help to me through the years, you taught me to bake bread and can without fear I would kill my family, I love you so much and I'm so happy you are able to get back in your kitchen. So happy you are finding ways to continue to do the things you love to do.
Thank you so much😊❤️
I got the slicer/ shredder for Christmas last year. I love it and cleans up like a dream. I also have the hand blended. Got it for my birthday in 2022. I asked for the meat grinder for this Christmas
That is awesome! you and I are right there on the same page! hahaha I am your tribe!

I have all the attachments. They are awesome. Especially like the ice cream maker
ooooooo dont get me to buy that now! hahahaha that sounds good!
Hope things are well with you neighbor.
oh did you go to the one in Gladwin????? SO GOOD!!!!! Thats such an awesome night. God bless you guys!
Yes, we only live 5 miles from Gladwin Pizza Hut.@@TheKneadyHomesteader
Yep, I remember! I still watch Bev. Loved Behr prepper and Katz Cradle. I contacted Katz about a year ago. She said she's coming back.
oh I hope she does!!! old TH-cam days....I miss them!
Enjoyed your unboxing! I am so happy for you! You always make me smile!
awwww well thank you for hangin out with me, I appreciate you so much.
I will use about 1/2 cup of chicken broth or beer
to mix the citrate (because milk scalds gets a skin) then once I've blended in the citrate, I will add milk that I have tempered. Then blend in the cheese. The dip/sauce turns out so so good. And of course, you can add jalapeños and/or spices. Just tailor to your family's preferences.
I am so happy to see you back in the kitchen
Thank you 😊 more to come😆👏🏻
You’re so inspirational. Thank you for this.
Your such a blessing . I love that way of thinking … pivot. We all need to be gentle with ourselves…. And pivot.
Much love!!
I love kitchen gadgets...such fun, great stuff 😀
God bless you - thank you for giving us 'permission' to pivot. Instead of giving up - try it a different way. I'm willing to try!!
Nice addition to your kitchen tools to make your life easier ❤😊 love you ❤❤❤
Love you too Laureen!!!!😁💋❤️
Much Love❤ Blessings from California 😊
God doesn’t waste anything.
@@TheKneadyHomesteader your very welcome. I have one. They are great. Hope it helps you. Your in my prayers. God bless 🥰
Fun watching you unbox your simple treasures that will make things easier for you.
This is so helpful for anyone lacking hand strength or dexterity.
I jumped on that bandwagon too. Glad you got yourself some stuff, you so deserve it.
hahaha amazon prime days will always get us!!! but hey, at least its good stuff to help us long term!
I found a pizza cutter I swear by ! It’s like the steel cutters/ scrapers but long so you just press down and it goes across the pizza ! No wheel !!! That could be easy on your hands 💕
My niece has the peeler slicer for making apple pie filling…it works like a charm !!! Love it. ❤
Your a blessing that it's ok to do things differently I broke my femur and a year later had a knee replacement same leg so I have to pivot at times thanks for helping us
Loved the unboxing tfs God bless
Heather its good to see you and getting stronger, AND I am waiting for ou to get back to bread baking I miss you, Stay stronge Arlene
Just what I needed to hear...blessings!!!
YAY!!!! thanks for being here Sandra!
Loved your purchases! ❤

I sure miss Cats Cradle. I watched all the oldies too.
me too! she was such a fantastic cook/canner!
I’d love to learn how to can. My daughter taught herself by she lives in another state. So guess I’ll be making a trip lol.
You are definitely an inspiration.
I remember all those canners
